I have made music and a series of videos to be used in a 40 to 50-minute Workout routine, to drill with the Meyer Square. Ideally, one should practice one of the 16 cuts as defined by Liechtenauer with each video, we start with 16 beats of intro to get in time, then settle and get ready, then 16 beats of moves, 8 beats of rest, breathing, then swing again. So, we have.......
16 beats of rest, 16 go, 8 rest, 16 go, 8 rest, 16 go, 8 rest, 32 go, 8 rest, 16 go, 8 rest, 16 go, 8 rest, 16 go, 8 rest, 32 go, 8 rest, 16 go, 16 go, 8 rest, 16 go, 8 rest, 32 go, 8 rest, 16 go, 8 rest, 16 go, 8 rest, 16 go, 8 rest, 64 go, rest, settle, remember next cut, choose a new weapon, swap hands, wait for next video, subscribe to channel......
I've always understood that with any physical exercise or pursuit that repetition makes for "muscle memory", you learn the move so deeply that it comes to you without thinking, so go and paint that whole fence, up this way, down this way.......
