Sorry for my lack of communication, I've been zoned out for a bit getting the mill ready to publish. Will try to work through emails and pintables next.
Will be publishing the mill files soon, next few days. Went back over fixed a bunch of issues while making the build guide.
In total I've written about 7500 words across a few documents (some of which are documents I can use for multiple projects). The build has over 100 images in it, which has been, to be blunt, an incredibly boring process.
Have picked up an Xtool sponsorship in this time so got some pretty cool laser based projects coming up along with some other WIP things but mostly I've spent the time catching up on work I let get the better of me.
Almost at 100k, thanks as always for the support.

Back from the weekend, working on a detailed sourcing document for the lathe, something I aim to go back and do for some other tools as well.

Thank you all for your support on the lathe! Very cool how many people want to build one, im a bit swamped at the moment but should have a BOM up tonight. Doing the 48hr FP this weekend so wont be able to finalize build instructions for a few days unfortunately.

I am honored to have been nominated as a finalist for 2 categories in the Printables Awards contest for 2024!
I did not even realize but thankyou to everyone who voted for the ball vise for the model of the year and functional print of the year categories.
Winning this would literally fund this channel for another 2 years at my current rate so if you like my experiments in printed machine tools and would like to see more going forward, voting for my designs is the easiest way you could support me!

Thankyou all again, and check slide 2 for another concrete experiment I just poured :) Did somebody say tapered roller bearings?

Havent used these much but I figure no time like the present
I should be back to uploading pretty frequently now, ive been away for a variety of reasons but am keen to publish what ive been working on, some cool stuff for sure.
Sorry if I havent replied to emails or comments ive been avoiding the email for this project but will look through the backlog tomorrow.
Oh yeah also the die filer is coming, turns out making a machine like that out of plastic is kinda tough if you want it to work but theres some clips of it in the new video, and heres a pic :)
Thanks as always :):)
