I have deadline crashing down this week so will be a delay in my blockbuster reaction to Episode 5 of 3 Body Problem. However, I did shoot a video that I will put out in the next few days about the aurorae we had this week and whether Superintendent Chalmers minored in astronomy.
Me, to store owner: "What basketball would you recommend if I just want to cut one in half?"
Store Owner: "Uh ... a cheap one."
Watched first episode of "The 3-Body Problem". Reaction to come (spoiler warning: I'm intrigued). I'm going to try to watch an episode a night for the next week and slowly throw the reactions up. That's a lot of watching and editing!
We saw totality! Through some thing clouds but it was still spectacular. Thoughts and videos to post on Thursday.
Another video will be dropping this week. Won't reveal the subject but I might be listening to a lot of Bonnie Tyler while I edit it.
Next installment of Alienfest dropping soon. Against the advice of C. Montgomery Burns, I did not include any films by this man.
So some heated online discussion broke out today about one of my favorite books and the movie made therefrom. So I dropped everything to record a reaction video. This will be new ground for me since my reactions are usually planned out well in advance whereas you'll be something a little more raw and spontaneous this time. But you gotta take some chances sometimes. As a wise man once said: "Come on, you apes, you wanna live forever?!"
Now that I've had my semi-annual head shearing, planning to record a couple new videos this weekend. And planning out some fun stuff for March and April.
Just had a conversation about a movie that I simply must do. It's a moral imperative. Hopefully up in a week or two.
