Welcome to my channel dedicated to southeastern railfanning mainly in Georgia. Thanks to all my subscribers and hope you enjoy the videos!
I've been an accountant for 28 years. My love of trains began at an early age and I grew up watching the Southern Railway and Seaboard Coast Line railroads in my hometown. One of my grandfathers worked for the Central of Georgia Railway in the 1940s and 1950s.
In 1991 I began taking train photographs and completely switched to videography in 1993. My first video camcorder was a Sony 8mm which I used until approximately 1996 when I moved up to Sony Hi8. In late 2000 I purchased a mini-DV Sony TRV-900 which I used until 2015 when I "retired" from train videography.
Although the HD and 4K formats are wonderful I never made the switch from mini-DV due to all of the good locomotive power gradually beginning to disappear. In late 2015 I bought a Canon Rebel T5 camera and went back to taking photographs until I “semi-retired” again in early 2019.
