Duncan Hames is the Director of Policy at Transparency International UK. There he lease the UK public policy, research and advocacy team in their efforts to fight corruption in the UK and to tackle Britain's role in facilitating corruption around the world.
A chartered management accountant, he is currently a postgraduate in the War Studies Department of King's College London studying Conflict, Security and Development, and also serves as a Non-Executive Director of the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.
From 2010-15 Duncan was the UK Member of Parliament for the Chippenham constituency in Wiltshire, and attended the UK Government Cabinet as Parliamentary Private Secretary to the then Deputy Prime Minister. His election to Parliament was the first for a Liberal MP is Wiltshire in more than 85 years. He is married to Jo Swinson and father to their two young sons.
