NearFromHome Party????

As we near the illustrious 10k sub count, we've been considering renting a small venue and having a little party for subs who live in and around Munich. Before we proceed forward with this, we wanted to see what our Munich followers think.

So, if we threw a 10k party in May-ish, would you ACTUALLY attend???

Hey guys! German Christmas Market video 4/5 is here, AND it was a collaboration! We ate our way through the Munich and Augsburg Christmas Markets with Jessica from @aWanderlustForLife, an Amsterdam based channel focused on food and travel! If you like our very informative travel content, you‘ll definitely love Jessica‘s. Check out her video (dropping later today) on the Augsburg Christmas Market.

Ok, this is our last non-German video before we go all in on German Christmas for the end of 2022. Please check out our latest video, Truffle Hunting in Tuscany. I KNOW how much you guys like vacationing in Italy, so we documented our Truffle hunting and cooking experience in San Miniato, Italy just for you guys. ;) We got experimental (for us) with the filming and editing, so the style is a departure from what we normally produce (think a combination of the Nat Geo and Art Hoe style), BUT the video still provides helpful logistics and cultural insights for those of you wanting to travel deeper. I'm not exaggerating when I say that this is our best video yet. it really pushed Ben as a presenter, and me (Camille) as an editor. Danke!!!

**New Video**
My dear German, and German enthusiast audience, Sometimes we make videos that are not about Germnay. HOWEVER, you should still watch these videos, not only because they are informative, drippy, and high quality, but also because it's impossible for this channel to grow if our audience doesn't watch our videos. (RIP)
Today's video is a Cinque Terre deep dive extravaganza. You know how we're committed to showcasing vacation deep cuts and their logistics, so we basically killed ourselves back in May to show every.single town. plus two more on the famous Cinque Terre Coast. Cinque Terre isn't too far from Bavaria, so maybe this video can function as a little summer vacation inspiration?? :D

Hey guys!! As fall becomes less fall-y, we have turned our planning efforts towards some German winter content. In addition to compulsory German Christmas market coverage (and some secret collabs :D), we're planning videos on Bamberg, Würzburg, and Freiburg.
However, we just don't have the ability to post a video every week, as our process, from planning to filming to editing, takes ~2-3 months. Sooooo if you're looking for more content and updates, may I humbly suggest giving near.fromhome a follow on Instagram. I compulsively post insta story updates on our activities and daily life. Yesterday, we hiked from Oberaudorf to the Hocheck Alm, and then down to the Auerburg castle ruins. :D
