if you haven’t seen my other posts about it, learning and liberation is an 8 episode documentary series about the people and places that allow young people to learn, play, and grow outside of traditional school.
this is a collaborative between me and my partner. i've been unschooled my entire life, and she's been unschooled for the past 3 years, and we're both 18! we're making this project because we want to share self-directed education from the perspective of two people who have first-hand experience with it.
this series means a lot to me. it's a natural evolution of all the work i've done on my youtube channel to share unschooling. we've put a lot of work into it, and i think it's going to be really great. i can't wait to start making it and sharing it with you :)

In case you missed my last video, I have an exciting announcement... My partner Genevieve and I are making a documentary series about self-directed education!
As you've seen on this channel over the past 4 years, unschooling and self-directed education mean a lot to me. It's given me the time, space, and energy to do things I don't think I could've even considered doing if I had been going to school all my life. This series is going to give me the space to explore more of these ideas at greater length, and I couldn't be more excited.
We are making 8 episodes, each focusing on a different self-directed education group, space, or model. Because we want this project to be as accessible as possible, we are going to be releasing all episodes for free on YouTube. Episodes will begin releasing monthly this fall!
