Today is this channels 3rd Birthday, yes we are 3 years old now and Green Side Up has come one in leaps and bounds over that three years and I could not be happier. I owe it all to you, the subscribers and viewers because without you watching and taking part it would just be me uploading videos for no reason, so thank you all so much for being here and being part of Green Side Up.
I have taken another step today and I have opened up my place on Patreon, this is somewhere where I plan to have videos and posts and I will be doing that in a more informal or personal style, so it will be extra content you might not ordinarily see, but my content will not be affected here on youtube.
www.patreon.com/GreenSideUp
Patreon is a subscription service so I know it wont be for everyone, but rest assured if you do subscribe over there you will get value for money and I have set the entry quite low. You will be helping to keep Green Side Up going ion exchange for good extra content.

Featured on the Thompson and Morgan blog this week here blog.thompson-morgan.com/sweet-peas-masterclass-be… about halfway down the page, lots of other sweet pea advice from other growers there also. I'll be sowing my lovely sweet pea seeds this week to adorn this beefy frame I made last year, you can see the construction of that frame here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAT9f...

The media are reporting temps down to -9 last night in Scotland, this photo was taken at 8am this morning in a friends car in the next village to us, that is -13 meaning it probably dipped cooler through the night!

This channel is about my adventure in gardening and my 2 allotment plots and 4 Polytunnels here in North West Cumbria on the edge of the Lake district National Park. I am a daily gardener who believes in trying things for myself rather than just reading about it. I grow vegetables for the table and some for fun., cut flowers are also a necessity and a dozen buckets a week in season are not uncommon. I grow as much as I possibly can from seed, there is nothing more satisfying. Always busy, with something new on the horizon or another test. Join me for the adventure!!
