The Stellenbosch University Chamber Choir (SUCC), founded in 2014, celebrates 10 years of excellence in 2024. Led by Martin Berger, with support from past assistant conductor, Jade Paige, and current colleague, Lunathi Ncamani, SUCC performs diverse repertoire, from African choral works to Western classics.
In 2015, SUCC gained local recognition, winning the Beste Klassieke Musiekproduksie award at the KykNet Woordfees for their acclaimed performance, Afrikaanse Lied. Internationally, the choir has showcased its talent in Germany, Hungary, and China. A standout moment was earning the Platinum Performance Award at the 2017 World Youth & Children’s Choir Festival in Hong Kong.
Based in Stellenbosch, South Africa, SUCC looks forward to each season, welcoming new voices and sharing their music with audiences worldwide.
Stay tuned for more performances and videos as we continue our passion for choral music!
Enjoy!
