So just wanted to let you know we're re-uploading our last Glow Up video. For some reason the algorithm gods just didn't want to show it to anyone outside our subscriber circle...
If you've already seen it (and even if you haven't!) - it would be amazing if you'd give it another watch, leave a like and share it around, as it helps massively in getting the video out. We did update the audio and video on the edit side as well, so it should be cleaner than ever - big thanks to our Shorts-Editor, David!
Wouldn't normally do this, but our video performed so utterly bizarrely that I really had nothing to lose (like the difference between 50~ views vs a few thousand and it only got shown to 85 people for some reason).
Last, a quick update: hoping to get another Blitz episode and Prog episode out in the next few weeks here - appreciate your patience with that as well :D

Hey everyone - just a quick channel update - nothing dramatic!
So we've hit holiday season, and both Colin and I are finding scheduling a bit more difficult - both on the editing and recording side. That is to say, episode 5 (Coldsnap) of Modern Progression is coming, but I wanted to explain the delay! I'm aiming to get it out next week, but it might be the following - so stay tuned.
In the interim, we have a new Blitz episode! I've been having a tonne of fun making these, and I hope y'all have been enjoying them~ They're faster to edit and film, so all in all a big win! That said, we appreciate it if you can send the episodes to your MTG friends and colleagues - it hasn't seemed to hit any sort of traction with the Algo :(

Hey Filthy Casuals community, Episode 04 || Dissension - is out now!
It's been a little while since the last Modern Progression episode. I've been slowly settling in from my move back from Japan to Canada, while also juggling the releases of our new Shorts, and Sealed Through Time Blitz's premier. Less to say, it's been a busy month!
Hopefully this episode can reach more of you than the last. We did a bit of a test with the upload settings of EP03 || Guildpact, and let's just say... it fell on it's face!

Hey everyone! Sorry for the double-community-post-dip.
In an effort to get more eyes on our channel and the Progression Series, I thought about doing the unthinkable...
...that is to say, making a more eye-catching and easier to understand thumbnail template for Modern Progression.
It's a bit of a tragedy... I absolutely love making wacky and fun thumbnail art - but I'm concerned it doesn't get people, who are interested in Magic, to click on our videos (ie: see our recent views lol).
Now me and Colin are all about doing our own thing, and not catering to the typical "YouTube clickbaity" shit - but I felt I could create a thumbnail that I'd both enjoy making, and keep the core of our content as our "style".
So I've gone ahead and started to test the idea out of a new thumbnail for the upcoming Guildpact episode!
I'd like to at least test this and see if it brings more viewers in. If it ultimately changes nothing (might take a few episodes to test) then I'll probably just go back to making the fun and stupid thumbnails again lol
It's a pretty big departure from our last 3-years of videos, but I want to hear your opinion on the new look.
I have four options that I'm working with, mostly changing the middle section.
Which one is your favourite? I'd love to hear what y'all would click on or what you think would stand out to new people most!

PS: Keep in mind the colours could change from one episode to another - I colour graded towards the Ghost Council art, hence the blue "MODERN" and the left side background.

Hey Questers! Just a quick Arena Quest x Streaming update.
Busy month as I begin the transition from moving back to Canada from Japan. It shouldn't disrupt regular content for the channel too much, but I definitely won't have the setup or energy to do streaming (probably!).
That said, I'd like to do one more stream this month before the short hiatus - so I'll likely be aiming for next week, on October 9th~ Not 100% certain, but that's what I'm aiming for.
We've got some fun Patreon stuff planned that should be rolling out sooner than later, and the edits of Arena Quest down into episodes will likely be rolled into that plan as well.
We've got some other projects on our minds, and can't wait to share them with you all, so stay tuned!

First and foremost - Modern Progression - Season 2 Episode 1 is out THIS WEEK!
We will be aiming to put out the first episode of Season 2 on Friday at 3PM PST.

We're Filthy Casuals, and we're here to be ridiculous for you!
This channel is currently focused on Magic the Gathering, with our first series: "MTG Progression Series" being our bread and butter, but we've started to dabble in some less than serious Live Play streams and other series as well!
The progression series sees two clownish geeks opening MTG sets from the very beginnings of Alpha/Beta, to the most modern sets. They will expand their collections and make decks episode to episode to be crowned the ultimate Filthy Casual of MTG.
Current schedule sees videos posted on every second week, so stay tuned!
