Lately, I’ve noticed a lot of people blaming creators for posting so-called “low effort” edits and getting frustrated when those edits pull more views.
First of all, I truly respect the effort and creativity many editors put into their work. That deserves credit. But blaming someone else for posting something “simple” is unfair. Everyone got the freedom to post what they want,
Getting upset because someone else is performing better feels more like a victim mindset.
From my experience, I always post knowing what you guys enjoy. I did use to make more "high effort" edits, but simply the audience didn’t like that.
As for the idea that “YouTube’s algorithm isn’t promoting high effort edits” — honestly, the algorithm reflects what the audience chooses.
It’s not biased. It just shows more of what people are watching and engaging with.
That said, I have nothing but respect for editors who put real time and creativity into their work. I don’t hate anyone. But no one should blame others for posting "low efforts" edit

Honestly, I don’t think anyone expected this—definitely not me. But this milestone is proof of what consistent improvement can do. Not saying I’m the best, but I’m way better than I was yesterday, and that’s what really matters.
As for the future of this whole Maven thing—I haven’t fully planned it out yet.
Right now, I’m managing a few more channels (in case you didn’t know). But I do hope to expand, it to something where I teach everything I’ve learned.
