SPONSORED CONTENT??? - Hi guys! As you know, I am not one for doing a *whole lot* of sponsored content across my platforms, but it's also no secret that it's one of the best ways to generate a stabile income for me as a business owner and content creator, be able to keep making free, educational content for you all AND it's an amazing way to get connected directly with my favourite brands and services. I've worked with brands like Skillshare, Organic Basics and Monica Vinader in the past; and I take great pride in these opportunities.
This year I've hardly worked with any brands since I've been without a management team to help me handle this side of my business. However, I'm excited to announce that I've just joined Makrwatch talent agency, and I'm super excited to finally have a partner help out with this side of my business again! It also means that because I've not had proper ongoing sponsorships on YouTube this year (besides a few here and there), I have a couple piled up for the next few months. It would appear that apparently a lot of great opportunities would come my way at the same time. This means you will notice a few more sponsored videos than what is perhaps normal for me; but please know that it's not going to be the "new normal". Yes, I will likely have more sponsored content spread across my platforms moving forward since I'm now also joining a management team, but I also go out of my way to spread it out, so you guys don't feel like you're drowning in adverts constantly. That's why you'll see a mix of both product placement but also apps and services that are here to simply make your life easier, stimulate personal growth or similar. I don't wish to push overconsumption, but at the same time (as I said before) I do also take pride in working with brands that I truly believe in and love, so it's all about finding a healthy balance. Content may be free to watch but it’s not free to create. 💁♀️
I'm writing this because I want to be 100% transparent about this with you, and I sincerely hope you understand where I'm coming from. I wouldn't be here without you guys and I feel like I owe you all so much - but at the end of the day I also wouldn't be here if I wouldn't be able to make a living from it in some shape or form at this point.
Anyway, can't wait to see you all in my next video.
