Howdy!
Hope everyone is well.
Just a quick update.
As of today, we resume our flexible scheduling. For now, the maximum frequency will be capped at a 4-day uploading frequency with a minimum of 4 videos a month (within 30 days).
There will be no boosted frequency for multi-part videos as we allow time to transition to a higher frequency.
As a little side note, today's video has been delayed a little, being pushed back to a publish time of 1:30PM rather than our usual 10:30AM publish time. A few issues were found with the video at the last minute, so we're in the process of re-rendering.
But with that in mind, a little sneak peak image for today's video.
Anyways, that’s all for this update.
Our next planned update will be during December.
Cheers, all. Catch everyone very soon.

G’day all,
Hope everyone is well.
We have had a pretty good run throughout August, maximising our flexible schedule. However, this has definitely taken its toll on the other channels, especially as I find myself a little bit more unavailable.
So today we will be announcing some temporary changes to uploading. The first thing is we will be taking a little break for the first half of September. This will apply across all channels from the 1st to the 14th of September, however there is one video that’s scheduled to be published on the 6th. After this we will resume normal operations. In an attempt to not feel too burnt out, stage two will be for the month of October. During the month, we will be returning to our weekly schedule with uploads on Mondays, and whenever there is a need for a two-part video, these will follow three days after. From November, we will return to our flexible schedule.
October will also be the month in which the model railway channel will increase its upload frequency from 25 days to 20 days. This is planned to continue into the new year.
Anyways, that’s all for this update.
Cheers, all. Catch everyone very soon.

Howdy all,
Firstly to start of, If anyone as missed our latest video:
https://youtu.be/GHQ5fINZKYk
With the month ending, its time to set out our plans. From the end of the month, we will be returning to our 4-day flexible schedule. At the moment, the quota system is on pause as we push through all of the backlogged videos. One difference with this schedule however will be regarding videos with extra parts. Where a video has been split, we will aim to have the second part out three days after the first video. Hopefully we will return to the quota system by November. You may have also noticed the lack of model railway unboxing videos. This is primarily because we only have Australian unboxings on this channel now, and there has been a lack of new models of interest coming out of late. There will hopefully be more content soon, in addition to one we found in the backlog, which will need to be updated before being released. All of our international models have been shifted to our model railway channel, which will return to a 25-day uploading schedule after August’s upload for two rotations returning to a 20-day schedule from October the 10th of October.
Cheers, all. Catch everyone down the line.

Howdy all,
Hope everyone has been well and enjoying the videos over the last few months.
Just gonna do a few changes to the schedule.
Up until now, we have been uploading to our new flexible schedule and as we've gone into the busier season, this has definitely boosted the number of videos during this time. However, there have been a few issues, so today we're gonna announce some temporary changes to the schedule. Beginning after our next video on Thursday (13th of June), the four-day frequency will be pushed to a five-day frequency, however when there is a video with multiple parts, they will instead be three days apart. This will be effective until late July, when another post will be made at the reversion of this. Also there's a change to the model railway channel scheduling. Effective immediately, videos will be uploaded monthly on the 20th until August, and then we'll return to our 20-day frequency. This will hopefully mean we'll have more time to both check quality and prepare videos for all the channels. I have not had nearly the same amount of availability, also with the number of tours that are being covered this year. Apologies about the changes, but we hope that these will relax the schedule.
Cheers, all.

G'day all,
It’s been a while since the last post, but time for a bit of an update.
Beginning from this Wednesday we will be going on a bit of a break, however this is primarily because we are going to be away for a time. The break will last until the 20th of April. There are videos being scheduled for this period, with the last one being uploaded on the 13th of April. Between the 13th and 22nd there will not be any uploads across all channels. Social media will be primarily on hold from Wednesday (10th) where replies can be up to 48 hours delayed.
Looking into the future, there will be another break from the 1st to the 6th of May with the same protocol, however with this one there is a planned video in the middle, on the 4th.
Hope everyone is having a good intro into this year's steam season. Some will probably notice some of the changes to the content being filmed as we attempt to adapt and realign with analytics and new personal interests. It's going to be a busy few months ahead so stay tuned!

Howdy,
Hope everyone has enjoyed our holiday season. From here on, we will be running to our new uploading system of quotas.
The changes were outlined in our annual update, however here a brief outline:
- Weekly schedule is replaced with a minimum quota.
- Flexible scheduling expanded for any day of week uploading, however now within 48 hours of recording.
- Videos will not be uploaded within 4 days and two part videos will be counted as a single video to the quota.
- Twitter will no longer play a major role in external social media for the main channel, however model rail content will continue to be shared.
- Backlogged videos (a week to a month old) will be uploaded on either a Sunday or Monday. Videos older than a month will be held in storage to meet quota requirements in other months.
- Trains Around Melbourne and unboxing videos will continue in their scheduled forms.
For the full update, check out the video attached. There have been minor changes made as can be seen in the brief outline.
We will attempt to be a bit more present on social media hopefully as the year goes on. Further large announcements will be made here on the community tab.
Cheers all, hope everyone has a good year!

Well, our final video for 2023 has now been published.
Thank you all for the support this year.
Reminder that we will be on break for the next week, so other than replying to comments, we will catch everyone nice and fresh on the 8th of January.
Hope everyone has a Happy New Year!

Howdy all,
So somehow I managed to forget to post here, but just to catch everyone up, as of this week, we will be switching to our holiday scheduling, which will have two videos per week. This will be split into two parts: from now until the 31st of December, and from the 8th of January until the 2nd of February. No videos will be uploaded during the week of the 1st of January. For the most part, videos will be uploaded on Mondays and Fridays except during the Christmas period, when our end-of-year video falls on a Sunday. On the 11th, we will outline our plans for all the Comeng998 channels for the year and the foreseeable future.
So that's that. Enjoy the extra videos and I'll catch you all soon.
Also, today we had the first of our extra videos, one from earlier in the year that needed to find an uploading slot, so enjoy!

G’day all,
We are back in operation, well mostly anyways. Thanks for bearing with us.
As we begin to allocate time back into the channels, the main channel will be prioritised to have everything back in full swing first. The model railway channel was already in operation and the vlogs channel should be back by the end of the week, although videos are still delayed on that channel as we reform some of the uploads due to missing files.
So, for the duration of the break, we weren’t fully in Melbourne, as our most recent video would have suggested. This lays the foundation of expectations for what hopefully should become more common in the future. Two videos were recorded as part of the flexible schedule, along with a vlog that’ll be edited when the time comes for. Last weekend, we also headed out of Melbourne for Bairnesdale, capturing the return of steam into the region. This video has also been split into two parts. So just to keep the videos moving, we will have extra videos for the next two weeks, allowing for a 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B scheduling (A denotes Transport Heritage Videos and B denotes The Gippslander).
For the remaining scheduling, once we’ve gotten through the two-part videos, we will return to our flexible weekly schedule on the main channel. The other two channels won't have any changes to their schedule as of yet.
Alrighty then, that should cover everything for now.
Cheers!

G’day everyone.
This is just a bit of an update on things.
Beginning from tomorrow (25th of September), we’ll be taking a bit of a break for two weeks (until the 10th of October). This break will be effective for all Comeng998 channels, but the effect on the channels will be different. For the next two weeks, the main channel will continue to have videos uploaded weekly, on Mondays at 10:30-10:45AM, however, social media inboxes and comments will be delayed, and replies will be made in bulk, usually during the evening of a scheduled upload. The vlogs channel will be fully on hold; no videos will be uploaded and comments will be also done in bulk. The model railway channel will continue as normal, as there are no planned uploads until the 15th of October (pushed back because of a delay with this month’s video). Social media and comments make up a smaller load on this channel and will continue to be monitored. Upon the resumption of operations, a recap post will be made. As filming will not be halted during this period, said post will also outline the schedule for the main channel while we still have a large backlog to get through for October.
Thanks all.
