Everything is animated and recorded and roughly edited for the next episode! Now comes the finishing touches as well as the most time consuming of all: Sound design!
I'm confident that Episode 18 will release before the end of September!

Progress on the next episode is going smoothly! Almost 50% of the episode is filmed and roughly edited. Release seems possible at the end of September or at the very least the beginning of October! I hope everyone is having a great weekend <3

Script is finally done and sent to all voice actors!
If anyone wants to voice act, there will definitely be opportunities for that in season 3! Big or small.

We are calling all filmmakers, animators, and Machinima enthusiasts!
Crowbar Productions is proud to present our first-ever Machinima Mayhem, a two-month-long short film festival showcasing the creativity and talent of our community! From June 1st to July 31st, let your imaginations run wild and craft your cinematic masterpiece in Garry's Mod, Source Film Maker, or Blender.
This Year's Theme: The Apocalyptic Summer! [Zombie Apocalypse Survival/Wasteland Survival]
Prizes:
-First Place: $100 or $50 Steam Gift Card [Depending on Budget]
-Second Place: $25 or $10 Steam Gift Card [Depending on Budget]
-Third Place: $10 or $5 Steam Gift Card [Depending on Budget]

Rules and Regulations for Machinima Mayhem
Theme: All films must adhere to the designated theme of "Zombie Apocalypse/Wasteland Apocalypse".
Software: Films must be created in Garry's Mod, Source Film Maker, or Blender. (editing software allowed)
Duration: Films must be at least 8 minutes and a maximum of 55 minutes long. (Excluding end credits time)
Originality: All submissions must be original works.
Content: Content must be appropriate for the community. Sexually explicit scenes, excessive gore, or hateful content will not be tolerated.
Team Limit: Members can form into a production team of no more then five people (excluding voice actors). Only the Director/main creator of the film may claim the film's prize.
Deadline: All film submissions are due by 11:59 PM PST on July 31st. (one submission per member)
Submission: Films must be uploaded to a platform like YouTube as unlisted and the link must be submitted within the Google Forum that will be provided soon
Judging: Films will be judged by a panel of experienced, non biased community members based on a provided scoring card.
Scores: The judges' scores are final once announced.

Hey friends
My dad passed away yesterday
I'm emotionally broken and need to pick myself up these coming weeks as well as tend to everything else connected to that.
My dad was the sole reason I picked up playing guitar and got into music. He was kind and patient and a wonderful teacher and I can't believe he is gone.
Production will be put on hold for the time being

I've been working on remastering and revisiting many if the songs from the SpaceQuest soundtrack. So the following days (until January 16th) a video with a remastered song will be posted, along with 2 NEW additions to the soundtrack! I also aim to post the entire first volume of the soundtrack in 1 video by the end of the month :D

I hope everyone is having a good time. I have a feeling that 2024 is going to be a great year!
A small update: I am currently working on an instrumental winter song that I aim to publish this month, together with wonderful artwork by my GF <3
The next episode is still a way to go, as I am waiting on my new voice cast to do their lines. This gives me time to create more music and possibly new additions to the soundtrack of SQ!

Next episode is shaping up well! Filming and animating is done! Sound design is around 25% done! This has probably been the hardest one to make this far! But I think it might come out before new year - happy holidays and be safe π¦Ύππ«
