As fall colors surround us, we find ourselvesf reflecting on the cycle of seasons – not just in nature, but in our lives.
Today, it's time to say, "Goodbye" to long-form videos for a while.
The summer gardens are tucked in. We too, are in a season of change. A season for us to prioritize what truly matters.
As our children grow, family is the thread that weaves through every single moment. It's a season to not only harvest the crops from the soil, but the moment with loved ones that enrich our lives.
We embrace a balance between the demands of the digital world and the warmth of human connection. The frequency of our posts may dwindle, but it's a step towards a life where the seconds tick a little slower, where the laughter lingers a bit longer around the dinner table.
We've all felt the weight of the online world, the constant pressure to create, to share, to be seen. Amidst the pixels and notifications, we can lose sight of the joys that exist beyond the confines of our screens. So, we're stepping back, not in retreat, but in search of balance and rejuvenation.
This break is a pause. A pause to breathe, to appreciate, to recalibrate our compass. We're choosing a mental break that will allow our minds to breathe, to wander, to dream. It's a necessity to ensure that the content we create in the future is not just noise in the digital cacophony but resonates with purpose and authenticity.
We're adjusting our sails. We'll still be here, in spirit, supporting, encouraging, and teaching. The bonds we've formed, the community we've built – they're the roots that anchor us. We may not be as present online, but the commitment to the growth of our community in what we can learn from each other remains.
As we venture into this season of change, we ask for your understanding and, perhaps, your companionship. It's a journey we're taking together, a shared path towards a richer, more balanced existence.

When we started sharing online, we did so to encourage others like us (very little to no farming experience) and show everyone that YOU CAN DO THIS
You can raise and grow your own food, ensure food security and high level nutrition for you and your loved ones, and you can have some fun while you're at it.
We're working on exciting things here including an apothecary, a fall class schedule, blogs and we have some big dreams we dare not talk about just yet. And it's all because of you!

An Army Veteran and a German Girl .... Building up our self-sufficient life one step at a time.
We've been saving up for years and planning for our move back into the country. In March 2020 we took the leap and relocated to our 20 acres of oak trees lost in the pines of Florida's panhandle and left the city life we had lived for 7 years behind.
On our channel we document the journey of arriving at our piece of land and building everything up from scratch, with all the learning that comes with "on-the-job" training. From building infrastructure, over animal husbandry and gardening, we are doing it all and taking you along with us in our videos.
