I must admit, I don't post here often. I should... but I can't ever seem to remember 'where' to post from and give up looking. However... now that I've found it again... I know that Easter is fast approaching and I've been trying to give you a number of different decor ideas and projects to put you in the Holiday mood. Some of the ideas are even perfect for you to complete with your children/grandchildren/nieces/nephews/neighbours... well, you get the idea! With so many videos on the channel now i know scrolling through them all can be challenging so I'll be trying to take advantage of events to create new playlists that will help you in targeting the ideas you're after. I have to admit I'm not a huge fan of Valentine's day... I think perhaps because I feel that I don't need a 'day' to ensure I tell people what I should be saying all along and just maybe... it harkens back to public school where we all had valentines pouches to drop off valentines to any of the students in the class and my pouch was always sorely lacking. A true testament even at a young age of the different experiences of extroverts vs. introverts. Whatever the cause it means I don't tend to do a lot of Valentine's day crafts. Sorry! However, I truly loved the look of this little heart craft for last year... and thought I'd drop it in here for you in case you were looking for a little something to make for someone in your life this year!

You can do so many things with your IOD moulds but the fact that they are food safe means that you can use them for decorating... your food! Use them to mould fondant to decorate your cakes or pastry for your pies! Chocolate will mould nicely in them so think perhaps of chocolate mouldings on your gingerbread houses. In the video below I showed you how you could make adorable Xmas cookies with last year's Xmas moulds but you can use any of the mould equally successfully, at any time of the year! The only trick is to use enough cornstarch to remove the dough from the particularly detailed moulds and... the right recipe! You need a dough that isn't going to spread out when baking... losing all of the great details. In the video description I share with you mine, which not only looks great but tastes great too!
