Hey! I'm Alisha, also known as The Geeky Baker :)
I started baking when I was young, probably 6 or 7, learning from my Nan. We used to bake pretty much every time I went to her house, just simple things like fairy cakes and Victoria sponge, but it's where I first found my love for baking.
It wasn't until a few years ago that I realised if I practiced and took it more seriously, I could get pretty good at making cakes! So I watched a tonne of Youtube videos and slowly got better and better.
I've wanted to start a baking Youtube channel for a couple of years now, but finally took the leap of faith in January this year and I have to say I'm loving it! It's a lot of hard work but it's such a special feeling hearing people say they've learnt something from my videos or they're going to recreate one of my cakes. I love baking and hopefully I can inspire more people to get into baking and enjoy it as much as I do!
