Women Emerging is a non-profit movement that runs expeditions to help women discover their own unique approach to leading.
The First Expedition for Women Emerging ran in 2022 with a diverse group of 24 women from different geographies, generations, sectors, specialisms, backgrounds, beliefs, abilities and aspirations. They discovered that the act of leading is individual and personal. So rather than develop ‘an’ approach, they created a ‘map’ that guides women on future expeditions. This map is captured in the book, If that’s leading, I’m in, written by Women Emerging’s founder, Julia Middleton.
In addition to running expeditions, Women Emerging hosts a weekly podcast to make the learnings and insights on leading accessible. This podcast features women who are leading at work, at home or in their communities. It’s a rich source of learnings from women globally, spanning various sectors and age groups. It is available on Apple, Spotify and Youtube.
