In my latest music video, I'm playing Celtic ROCK while standing on a rock - in the middle of the Highlands!
This video for my song DESERT RAIN is a dream come true. For the longest time, the challenge was finding a fitting location to film this. Living in Germany, I have access to neither a desert nor a landscape that fits the Celtic rock vibe of this song. I thought about solving this with my usual green screen trickery, but then in the summer of 2023 I decided to travel to Scotland and take my guitar in case a good opportunity came up to shoot this - and it did! I was blown away by the beauty of the Highlands and found a perfect spot in Glencoe to ROCK out while standing on a rock - as you can see from the attached screenshot!
The finished video was finally released a few minutes ago. I was told directly linking to it here hurts the organic reach of these community posts, so I'm going to leave you with a hint where to find it, should you be in the mood for some Celtic-inspied rock music paired with epic drone footage from the Scottish Highlands! Hey friends!
As a long-time Doctor Who fan I‘m excited to announce that I'm the composer for UNIT: Brave New World, the upcoming audio drama series by Big Finish! I‘ve had a blast working on this with producer Emily Cook and director Scott Handcock and while I love doing covers, it‘s a dream to be able to add my own music to the Doctor Who universe!
