I haven't posted anything in a loooooong time, but to anyone reading this...I am not dead! : D
I'm no longer a student (graduate wooo!) and I'm hoping to get back to posting animations, shooting for January or February at the soonest. However, I won't be using MMD anymore. I'll be using Maya, an alternate 3D program, for my animation needs from now on. So, the next time I post, the video will be made using Maya instead of MMD.
I'm currently in the process of converting my MMD models that I had commissioned (the ones by ayn3D, used in my FUKKIRETA video) into Maya and making them more useable within the program itself. So, once I'm done with that and the tweaking that comes with it, I'll be animating again for my channel.
I was also in the process of making original models of my own (specifically I was working on an Akaito model), but I'll have to put that on the backburner for now. I would like to finish my own original models at some point to use, but I've decided that converting my old, MMD bbys will be faster. (I debated showing my progress on the model I was making, but I think I'll keep it to myself for now lolol)
Anyway, I just wanted to give a heads up. I still love Vocaloid/Vocal synths/whatever you wanna call them and I miss posting so much. T - T

Edit: I said Feb at the soonest, but the latest will prob be March. I'm still working on converting the model and fixing some things with it. But I hope to finish up soon so I can animate, already modeled a very simple room for what I have in mind for my next video. ^^

I've never monetized any of my videos due to principal of using MMD and utilizing other peoples assets, whether that be stages, accessories, models, effects, etc. But I figured if people like my original animations and the content/time I put in making them, I'd give an off-site option since profiting directly off the videos themselves always made me uncomfortable (and the majority of said creators dislike that anyways, rightfully so).
MMD is a hobby of mine, so don't feel pressure to donate either way. I'll still upload every so often, so just a comment is good enough for me. n v n )/

Though I'm fairly new at digital stuff, esp since I don't draw all the time. (I got a tablet in v late 2020 if I remember correctly??? Slowly improving bit by bit, though shading still makes me extremely ????? need to study more.)
AND IN OTHER NEWS....I have about 15ish seconds left to do on a video I'm animating (Hint: It's Longya/Akaito) so that's exciting,,,I've worked on it for so long v e r y slowly, so it'll be nice to post something again!! I changed my username after 12 years of having akatsukigothiccat. This current name is something I made up several years ago for DeviantArt...so it's a bit old too. (Not n e a r l y as much though)
While I do think this name is a lot easier to remember, I think I'll keep my custom url the way it is at least. Just for old times' sake lolol.
I'd like to upload a short animation soonish. Sorry for being so quiet with my uploads, my freetime is a lot more limited...or has been for a while now, haha. But I still love animation and my vocabois ofc!!
