Bakharla is famously renowned throughout the Burda VistÄra, Gujarat state for many reasons. One of those being for having represented BhÄrata MÄtÄ in Russia by accompanying our then Prime Minister and entourage. This was to showcase a display of our native Dandiya Raas to the worldwide audience.
We're located north east of Mahatma Gandhiâs birth place city of Porbandar. Bakharla itself has several places of interest and attractions which are worth visiting. That includes numerous Mandirs, one of them being the beautiful and now famous Chamunda Mandir, which is to be found on the northern outskirts of Bakharla as we head outwards on Highway 95.
