Hakusan Shirakawa-go White Road is 33.3km long with an elevation difference of about 850m.
This is a toll road and driving route exclusively for automobiles that traverses the nature-rich Hakusan National Park and connects the ancient city of Kanazawa and Hakusan.
Except for the snowy season, you can see many wonderful scenery that can only be seen during this period from June to November every year.
In addition to being a driving course, it is full of seasonal attractions such as fresh greenery and remaining snow on Mt. Hakusan in spring, trekking to escape the heat in summer, and colorful autumn leaves. It has been selected as one of the top 100 autumn leaves in Japan.
