Interesting! My content on YouTube is not being shown to all my subscribers. How do I know? There are people waiting for today’s video—but in alt-accounts I have, my new video doesn't appear on those subscription feeds. Anyway—here's my video for today:

UPDATE: I got suspended on Twitter for a week. My own stupid fault, I referred to some user as a “sl*t” in a casual and thoughtless reply. So if anyone wonders why I’m not posting there, please be so kind as to post a screenshot of this community post there, so no-one worries and thinks I got arrested—again! lol
Actually it’s better this way: Twitter is such a time-suck.
The knee is getting better, I have more mobility, but my rib is absolutely killing me. If I cough, sneeze, blow my nose or much less hiccough, it *hurts* like an SOB. I broke the second-to-lowest rib on my left side, probably when my left elbow got slammed into my side when I fell. The break is right there by my left elbow as I am typing now. No, I didn’t go to a doctor (it’s tough, given the current circumstances), and I’m not on any pain meds. But I’ll admit, the wood-block on my shoulders is a little fuzzier than usual.
The good thing for you goons is, I have more time to make solo videos. I’ll be posting something later today.
Also, to my Patreon subscribers, I will definitely do a make-up show on Wednesday at noon EST. I had to cancel Sunday’s usual broadcast because of my injuries. I’ll be discussing some geopolitical topic, and then taking your questions and comments.
Finally, I’m getting back into my book. Last week was going better every day—until my accident on Thursday. So after I finish this post, I hope I can get back into the swing of it.
Thanks as always for your support. Here’s a pic of my nurse. I took it just before she gave me physical therapy this morning—say nice things about her.
Cheers, GL

I crashed my motorcycle yesterday evening. Slipped on loose gravel on a turn, my rear wheel slipped right out from under me. I think I seriously sprained or broke something in my left knee, cracked a rib, and feels like a minor fracture of my right wrist. Needless to say, I won’t be posting videos for a week or so. But I will be active on Twitter (once again thank you so much for putting pressure to get me reinstated!). twitter.com/GonzaloLira1968 Best, GL

I NEED A FAVOR—Please respectfully tweet to Elon Musk, and ask him to unban my Twitter account twitter.com/GonzaloLira1968. This screenshot of my pinned tweet is the real reason that the old Twitter regime banned me. If you can all tweet to Musk, it would mean the world to me—especially as the war here in Ukraine appears to be turning in my direction! Thank you. GL

Kharkov—The lights went out today promptly at 9:00am, following a missile strike. They just came back on, at 12:30pm or so. Yesterday, there were two colossal strikes in quick succession, around 2:29pm, but the lights held. I guess today, they hit the right spot. Lights out is no big deal—it’s the loss of heat that goes along with it. That’s what kills. #LivingInAWarzone. GL

I'm going live with Alex Christoforou and Brian Berletic, to discuss the expatriate experience—join us! Patreon supporters will be able to come on and ask questions directly. Broadcast starts at 10am EST. GL

KHARKOV UPDATE — Yesterday around 4 PM, the lights were knocked out in Kharkov. And they stayed off until a little after midnight. While we were in the blackout, I went to the supermarket to get some groceries—it was eerie, the whole place dark except for people with flashlights and only a couple of checkout lanes open, running on emergency generators. I’m perfectly fine, in fact I took the opportunity to catch up on my sleep. The only bad thing is that, while at the supermarket, I bought a roll of Oreo cookies—and ate them all. I’m going to hell for that. GL
