While I am catching up on getting my old Genshin vids edited, I’ve also tried my hand at Wuthering Waves. For those who have played it - how have you enjoyed it so far?
My breakdown is as follows through Chapter 1, Act 4:
Story: 5/10
Characters: 8/10
Combat: 9/10
Dialogue and VAing: 2/10
World design: 3/10
Exploration: 6/10
Tracet Echo system: 10/10
I reeeeeeally like the combat and echo system. The character designs have also been very fun.
The direction of the VA’ing has been horrendous, and at some point I’m going to have to give another language a try.
The story suffers from waaaaay too much of an exposition dumps for a large amount of esoteric concepts. The pacing is awful because of this. And generally speaking, the story just isn’t that interesting yet outside of one of the acts. I’ve started skipping a lot of the dialogue because of the unneeded amount of extra dialogue and dull story.
Exploration is average but would be greatly enhanced by a significantly more vibrant world. This world on the initial map is dull and unimaginative.
I’ll keep playing through the initial story at least. Where we go from there, we’ll see. Honkai Star Rail also took a few patches for me to really get on board.

Here we go.
We're gonna finish Persona 3 and then start Spirit of Justice. From what I've heard, this game is LONG, so we'll be at it for awhile!
Once I'm done with SoJ, I am going to be putting together some of the video essays I've been itching to put out, such as analyzing and grading each of the prosecutors in the series.

Change has been on the horizon for awhile now.
This channel is now significantly different from what it originally was - a channel where a group of friends would upload let's play videos lately of classic games one or more of us missed out on when we were younger. KY has moved on and Tone and Carmello are spending more time on other ventures.
That leaves me, and the way the channel has essentially been presented for awhile now.
The brand change is a lifting of a metaphorical weight that kept me shackled me to a narrower focus. The idea here is that this channel can be more than just me streaming video games. That is an evolution that has to happen, as I have been interested in doing other type of content on the channel for awhile now. I am not the same as I was in 2015. Most of you are not the same people the first subscribed to this channel. I'm ready to embrace that fact.
The branding itself is not complete. The current logo is a placeholder. tal vez made it as the final badge for YouTube subs (4 years), and designed it to acknowledge the "graduation" of the viewer to the person they are now versus the one they were before. And so, for now I will leave it to symbolize the channel's "graduation" out of the gaming classroom.
Students of Gaming will live on as our let's play series whenever we have time to make new vids. Tone and I would have released the entirety of Last of Us Part II by now had we not lost a whole evening of footage. And we still want to play the new Super Mario RPG Remake. So it's not gone forever.
Thanks for reading. I'll see you all in the next video.

I thought I’d take a nap for a couple hours before streaming. I woke up 5 hours later in a daze. We’ll try again tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience.

This is happening. We are doing our taxes. April 15th, the Saturday before Tax Day in the US. Mark it down.

The Dual Destiny VODs have been made Public again. Thank you for all of those who voted and/or commented! Your input has put my mind a bit more at ease.
Meanwhile, channel members can expect a video update regarding my first week at my new job at the end of the week!

Should I un-private streams 1-7 of Dual Destinies?
I originally made them private because of the annoying audio issue. I am displeased with how they turned out on playback, and I didn't want people watching them at their current quality level. However, the general reaction has been one of disappointment.
I won't be stubborn; if you people are fine with the videos as-is(are), then I'll make them public again. I'll keep this poll open for 48 hours, and then I'll abide by the results. I realize that my insecurities could be stemming from unwarranted paranoia, but I ask that you consider the potential problems with keeping flawed material public and whether you think it would negatively affect the opinion of anyone new to the channel.
