Hey everyone! After a long hiatus, we are attempting to make a full return! It's been over two years since we last posted a video, and it was absolutely wonderful seeing you guys again on our most recent upload! Unfortunately, our departure had a lot to do with the financial sustainability of the channel.. The YouTube algorithm changed, our audience changed, and we changed.. It's hard to think that we produced over 1,000 videos over the course of 10 years.. We made many wonderful memories along the way, and none of it would have happened without you. In 2014, Jim would become the 1st person to join me on Top10Archive, becoming the voice and face of the channel. By 2016, we had grown to a team of 21 people. It was all new territory for us.. We weren't business owners, we just loved making educational YouTube videos and being a part of the community. We made a few mistakes - some were entirely avoidable, others were just part of the process. All good things eventually come to an end, though, and that's what happened a couple of years ago. It was back to Jim and I again towards the end. We rode the ship down together. We looked back into the empty room, smiled, and turned off the lights for the last time. It was bittersweet, but the old adage says, "Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all." We deeply cherish all of the moments we spent with all of you, and can't thank you enough for all of the support and memories you've provided us. We are going to try our best to make a full return, but we can't make any promises - it's all dependent on our ability to generate the necessary views to compensate artists to produce our videos.
With that said, we started a 2nd channel that you may be interested in! All net revenue produced from this channel will be used for Top10Archive to produce educational content again. We understand if it's not your type of content, but we hope you can at least give it a chance! :)
