John Mapes is a Singer Songwriter from Orange County CA who prides himself on writing music with a message. John has spent his entire career in different aspects of the music industry, but recently returned to songwriting after a 15 year hiatus. Currently he is working on a new collections of songs with the first release on 8/26 entitled "Human Nature."
He started with a simple IG account in the summer of 2019 and ended up releasing his first 4 song acoustic EP "Everyday Is A Battle" in May of 2020. The first EP was a huge milestone after taking such an extended break. After that he released his first full band song "Running in Circles" based off the Pulse Percussion 2020 show. In late 2020/early 2021 John released a 5 song full band EP entitled “Live & Learn” and followed that up with his single “My Own Drum” in late April! Stay tuned for more exciting upcoming projects.
