The beginnings of the farm began in 1991 when Karel Dittrich senior and his family decided to start their own farm shortly after the Velvet Revolution.
It started from nothing, literally on a green field, with minimal machinery and facilities. The family farmed 20 hectares and gradually grew the farm.
Until 1993, the hops were still harvested by hand for two years. In 1995, the first own combine harvester was acquired.
In 2005, the Lenešický Chateau became part of the farm, which offered additional space for the farm's facilities and also became a venue for cultural or corporate events. The hand combing, the subsequent tour of the farm, and the gathering in the chateau have already been used by e.g. Pilsner Urquell.
The hop-growing area also increased from the original 1.8 hectares to 50 hectares by 1998. In total, the farm cultivates an area of 1300 hectares.
The farm is focused on crop production, i.e. growing hops, wheat, barley, rape, sunflowers, and mustard.
