The churches are the lampstands
Revelation 1:20
The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches"

So we are His church
1 Corinthians 3:16–17:
Do you not know that you are God's temple and the Spirit of God dwells in you?"

Revelation 21:3:
The church is His glorious temple, in which He is pleased to dwell"

Lampstands shines Jesus’ light
Mark 4:21-25
Also He said to them, “Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is it not to be set on a lampstand? For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light. If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.”

If we are His Church and we as His Lampstands are not shining His light then we are lying to ourselves and need to examine our relationship with Jesus and that starts by humbling ourselves, hitting our knees and repenting.
It’s time to stop doing self will and start doing the will of Jesus. Time is too short let’s start helping to bring in the harvest.

A must watch video. People need to wake up. Where are all the people who say they are Christians? Why is no one standing up for Jesus anymore ? 😢 it’s so sad where this nation has spiraled to. It’s so sad that Christians are turning a blind eye to this

Something about the parable of the wheat and tares that we in the body of Christ tend to ignore, is that at no point whatsoever in the process of seed, time, and harvest do the tares turn into wheat. This should really give us something to think about within the church and within what we call Christianity today, as we’re so quick to accept everything that appears to be holy, as if it really is. But understanding the significance of this parable shouldn’t stop there. We need to also accept and heed the following additional warnings:

1. The enemy who successfully sowed the tares in the field, was only able to do so because the man to whom the field belonged was asleep at the time… not keeping watch over his field. (You must stay spiritually sober and KEEP WATCH!)

2. The enemy didn’t choose to sow his seed in bad ground. He didn’t sow it on the wayside amongst thorns, thistles, and rocks. He looked for GOOD and FERTILE ground to sow it in. (Just because the ground you’re planted in is fertile, does NOT mean the enemy won’t try to plant seed there as well! In his eyes, the more fertile, the better!)

3. Though tares are almost undistinguishable against wheat, they CAN be distinguished. BUT trying to uproot tares amongst wheat without the possibility of also destroying the wheat in the process, is difficult. That’s why Jesus said it’s best to let the tares continue to grow amongst the wheat… but why, really, is that best? (Warn against tares, and let Jesus do the rest!)

4. It’s best because the main purpose of a tare is to choke out and kill the growth of the weak and apathetic wheat around it. BUT the thing is, tares are NOT successful in doing so amongst determined, strong, and healthy wheat! (Stay strong and faithful, it’s the ONLY way you’ll make it to harvest! Lukewarm wheat won’t make it!)

5. And last but certainly not least, even though the tare is indeed somewhat distinguishable against wheat, it is MOST distinguishable right before harvest. You see, when wheat fully “ripens” it bends, dies, and changes color. Tares DO NOT! Instead they continue to stand tall in their pride without any change whatsoever. Wheat BOWS, DIES, AND CLOAKS ITSELF IN READINESS FOR HARVEST! (Stay humble, die to self, and cloak yourself in the righteousness of Christ!)

To my family in Christ Jesus, I pray you can understand the extreme importance and significance of this parable as it pertains to your life and to the body of Christ. Just because someone “looks” like a follower of Christ doesn’t always mean they are. Outward appearance isn’t always a reflection of inward devotion. Stay alert, stay awake, and stay strong… and most importantly, don’t ever, ever, EVER let the tares planted around you suffocate your growth in Christ Jesus! God bless.

Bible Thoughts and Questions:
“What happened at Sodom and Gomorrah?” God sent two angels to Sodom to find out just how corrupt the people had become. These angels arrived at the city gates in the evening and talked with Lot, the watchman. Lot warned them that it was not safe to be out on the streets because of all the evil people. He insisted they stay at his home for their own protection.

While the angels were eating a meal, which Lot had prepared for them, the men of the city, both young and old, came to Lot’s house, demanding that these two “new” men be handed over to them, so that they might “know” them. Lot offered the men of the city to take his two virgin daughters. These evil and corrupt men refused to take the girls because they wanted the men. The men of the city then began to break the door down in order to get these two “new” men which were in Lot’s house. The angels pulled Lot in and shut the door. The angels then smote the men at the door with blindness, and these evil men continued to try to find the door so that they could have these men, whom they desired.

The angels warned Lot to gather his family together and take them out of this evil city because the Lord had sent them to destroy it. Lot warned his sons in law, but they refused to listen. The angels then took Lot, his wife and his two daughters and set them out of the city, so they would be safe.

((Genesis 19:24-26 KJV; “Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; 25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground. 26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.”))

Lot’s wife had decided she did not want to change her “way of life”, and was destroyed with the rest of the evil and corrupt people who lived in these cities.

Our Father’s word tells us exactly what He thinks about such wickedness! His destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah were a warning to all people of what would happen to them if they partook of such unnatural and evil ways:

((Romans 1:26-32 KJV; “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”))

Our world today has become as gross and wicked as these cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, and our Father is not pleased about it! His word states that they which commit such things are worthy of death! Although men may try to brainwash us into thinking that such things are “okay” and even “politically correct” to accept such behavior, our Father’s word says differently! Our Father knows that these “flesh” bodies we have can be very weak, but if you do sin, you can repent, and He will forgive you and welcome you back with open arms. His word, if read with understanding, will help you to keep your flesh and your mind strong. Even though this world can be very dangerous and even disgusting, we do have to live in it. Our Father’s word will protect you from the evils of this world, if you’ll just try to understand and follow His instructions.

Y'all think about it.

When you feel you are all alone. Like there is no one else with that zeal for Jesus anymore. When you are being rejected and mocked, “count it all joy”.

You are never alone, Jesus is right beside you. Continue with that great boldness. Jesus sees your heart for him and nothing else matters

James 1:2-8

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Acts 5:40-42

And they agreed with him, and when they had called for the apostles and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name. And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.

Acts 4:20

For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.”

Acts 4:29

Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word,

Jeremiah 1:9
Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me:
“Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.

Jeremiah 20:7-9

O Lord, You induced me, and I was persuaded;
You are stronger than I, and have prevailed.
I am in derision daily;
Everyone mocks me.
For when I spoke, I cried out;
I shouted, “Violence and plunder!”
Because the word of the Lord was made to me
A reproach and a derision daily.
Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him,
Nor speak anymore in His name.”
But His word was in my heart like a burning fire
Shut up in my bones;
I was weary of holding it back,
And I could not.

My heart mourns for Gods people. Where is the zeal for the Lord anymore? It’s heartbreaking to see so many who profess to be in Love with Christ but only sit and can’t even say one thing that He has done for you today. My heart breaks when I see a preacher pouring his heart out to a congregation, only for people to be talking amongst themselves (sometimes loudly) and on their cell phones. Where is the Love of Christ? Where is the fear of God? where is the reverence to God word? Where is the respect for others? Where is the heart and passion for our Lord Jesus? My heart breaks to see where the body of Christ is right now.
So my questions this morning are…

Where is your heart?

Is church a social club to you or do you go because you hunger and thirst for more of Jesus?

I ask you all to Examine yourselves and make sure Gods fire in you has not went out. So that your walk with Him is not hindered and that you are not hindering someone else’s walk so that we all can grow in Christ and produce good fruit.

The time is now to prepare your gardens to receive Gods rain. Decerning the chameleons that hinder our growth.
Prepare your garden and prepare for the harvest.
