Which version of Persona 4 did you play, and why? Particularly interested in those who played the original over Golden. For those who played both, how did you feel about the different versions and which did you prefer?

As an update, I decided to make the Why I Prefer Persona 4 > Persona 4 Golden video first. I'm mostly through the recording and will probably get to the writing next week. I aim to highlight the strengths unique to the original version, discuss the areas where Golden improves upon it, where I believe Golden misses the mark, and also talk about how discussion surrounding version preference for this series can be difficult.

Future video plans as discussed in the past stream:
A video on the Trails/Kiseki series: As you could tell from the music choice in my last two videos, I recently got into the series and I really like it. I would love to introduce others to it and talk about what about it hooked me in!
A video on why I prefer Persona 4 over Persona 4 Golden: It's an opinion I've held for years and I'd like to discuss it in full, along with a section about how version preference discussion is a bit tricky generally speaking for this series.
I've had plans for another SMT focused video for awhile but I'm not quite sure what I'd want to make first of these options. I'll make a poll down the line about that.
Lastly, I'd like to reflect on two videos which I feel could benefit from more updated thoughts, or at the least I think I have a better understanding of the topic I want to talk about and *how* I want to talk about it. Those would go on the second channel to not clutter up this one, but it'd still be announced here.
No promises on which video will come out first nor when the next video will come out. Let's be real, with my track record if I get a 3rd video out this year it's an improvement LOL. My life is a tad hectic right now so I'll see yall when I see yall :]

Thanks for the support on the latest video!
What were your thoughts on it? I'd consider how that video was made to be a bit experimental. I tried some jokes that were out of my comfort zone, some writing attempts to appeal to emotion, and some things added in just cuz "ok but what if-". I knew this was a very anticipated video, but I still wanted to take some risks to make it standout compared to past runs, and I'm sure there are things some people liked and disliked about it. I'd love to hear some feedback.
I've also considered streaming sometime to highlight some behind the scenes details on the run that didn't make it into the video, as well as answer any questions y'all may have had about the run. Lemme know if you'd be interested!

The video is just about done. However, as much as I would've wanted to upload it in March, I think it would be best to upload another day. Well, that took awhile. I was just doing test runs with different builds and one of them unexpectedly did the job!
Not sure when the video will be out, it's gonna be a big one. I want to try and make this one a bit special compared to my past runs. I hope the end product will share some of the fun I had with all of you!

The challenge run is almost done. This has been such a journey. Doing this blind with only my knowledge of P3F/P3P has led to such a thrilling, exciting, and a little stupid(in a funny way) journey. I haven't had such surprise factors playing this series in such a long time and many of the boss changes have given such a genuine degree of fun that playing the game with full knowledge wouldn't have provided.
Maybe I'll try to stream the final boss attempts?
Also for those who played I did Request 99 as well as the below image, had to do some math for that one lol
P.S. Ignore the Black Frost, it's just in my inventory. It's been only Orpheus this whole time of course :]

Persona 3 Reload has been really fun. I'm loving a lot of the new voice cast & music, and man this game is gorgeous.
The challenge run has been awesome, been learning so much about the game I wouldn't have just by playing it normally. Can't wait to share it with you all once that's done! This was probably the most fun fight so far, despite being weak to Electric lol.
(For anyone curious, you can't fight full moon bosses without bringing a full party, but most start with an AOE skill and I've made sure no party members have gotten experience so they usually go down immediately)
