Hello everyone. I know I’ve been awol with the videos lately. I’m doing fine, just super busy with my day job and my winery. I have been cooking at home a lot and will be at least sharing some photos with you all. Here is a fried rice I made the other night. It was delicious. If you’ve seen my chili garlic fried rice video on here before (https://youtu.be/zXp9rOAoNuo) this was similar. But I kicked it up by first frying crumbled form tofu in the pan along with some of the chili crisp. I also upped the veggies with diced carrots and celery. Otherwise it was pretty close to the original. You can make fried rice easily and add whatever you like to it. Cheers and happy lunar new year to all my viewers who celebrate it.

OMG. I lay in bed on lazy weekends dreaming about food I want to make for all of you. Today was all about quick spicy peanut butter noodles. But no. I couldn’t do it the easy way. I had to make my own homemade udon. And I’m so glad I did. I can’t stop eating this!!! And I can’t wait until I get all my video footage organized and edited for you. You don’t have to make your own noodles, but I would encourage you to do so. Happy plant based eating, Potstickers.

Experimenting with my quick 15 minute seitan - this time in a paella. I was thinking about paella I’ve had with chunks of sausage. So, I seasoned my dry ingredients with vegan chicken bullion, garlic powder, crushed fennel and smoked paprika. I seared the quick seitan in a pan with olive oil until browned. Then I added in my onions, garlic and red bell peppers. I proceeded to cook this like a traditionally paella with some tomato, broth and Spanish rice. I even managed to get a decent socarat on the bottom. The sausage pieces were delicious with a great sausage texture. I call it a success. I’ll definitely add it to my list of videos to make.

On a cold snowy day, my warming comfort food is kimchi jjigae. This time I left out the chickpeas and added tofu. Also served with some soy/mirin glazed Korean radish. Here’s the stew video: https://youtu.be/0nzxosUzh_E

Hello potstickers. I’m working on a video to answer questions about washed flour seitan. If you have any questions you want me to address, please leave them in the comments below. It is grape harvest season and I’ve been working 24/7 in the winery, so I haven’t had a lot of time to get videos out to you lately. But I haven’t forgotten you! I have lots planned for when I can breathe a bit. Cheers and thanks for being here! ~Greg

Good morning everyone. I wanted to share my pasta al pomodoro that I made recently. It is a simple summer fresh tomato sauce made by sautéing some onion and garlic in good olive oil and then blistering down some cherry tomatoes. Add the al dente pasta and a bit of the pasta water and cook until it is creamy and delicious. Finish with fresh basil. It is simple and so delicious. Maybe this would be a good dish to do a live cook along with? What do you think? Would you cook this along with me?
