One week ago this channel reached the 2K subscriber mark! Thanks a lot to all the subscribers for making it happen! The channel has been doing good with lots of momentum and a recent surge in subs and viewership.

I am glad to announce that the channel will be resuming regular uploads starting September 24th. Until then the channel will see various onboard rides posted. I appreciate everyone's understanding and wish to resume regular uploads again. There will be a lot of content related to various service changes to service within the NYC Metro area.

Here's just a portion of what you can expect these next few weeks and through the fall:

1) CT Transit - Expect to see more footage in the coming weeks documenting some final trips, routes, and service patterns as a result of the systemwide service changes which went into effect on August 25th. The first video will premiere this Wednesday!

2) LIRR - There will be some upcoming LIRR onboard ride footage, as well other footage in the coming weeks. The railroad will be conduct major service changes on most branches during off-peak periods leading to new terminals and patterns for certain branches.

3) NJ Transit - This fare free week presents a lot of opportunities for trips out to the Garden State. Expect to see bus related footage and maybe even some rail content.

4) NICE - With all the changes occurring September 1st, expect footage covering many of the anticipated service changes in the Nassau County bus system.

Hi everyone!

Channel update: There will be a return to uploads starting August 8th. For the next 2-3 weeks, there will be a revised upload schedule of one onboard ride video per week on either Wednesday or Thursday.

While it has been taking longer than expected to move years worth of files than expected, I am now at a point where I can resume some uploads. I plan to resume the full uploading schedule by September. I appreciate everyone's understanding and thanks for tuning in!

Hi everyone, I have some channel updates regarding what's coming in the next few months, so please make sure to read through:

1. We've seen a boost in subscribers recently, so for those who are relative new, welcome aboard!

2. Something unexpected came up which would hamper my ability to render and upload videos. As a result, I will need to find a new storage host and transfer years of photos/videos within a certain timeframe. I will be dedicating my time to this for at least two weeks so I can then be able to continue providing content for your without issues. There will be no uploads tomorrow, but there will be one this Saturday. I will provide further updates on the anticipated return, which for now is slated to be on August 6th.

3. After returning to usual uploads in August, there will be a larger variety of videos through the summer as there will be more railroad content coming your way (LIRR & Metro-North), as well as NJ Transit Bus and CT Transit related content, in addition to the usual bus and subway content. Some of this has already been recorded and need to be uploaded.

I appreciate your understanding, and thank you for your continued support!

Took a trip last Wednesday through Connecticut, including through Hartford, New Britain, and Meriden. The real feel reached 101 degrees during this time, which made getting footage out on the street fairly difficult.

Despite the heat wave, it was a decent trip and was able to get some interesting footage. These are just some of the stuff from said trip, with related content to come soon:

NICE Bus provided service to the Cricket World Cup today with anything it could get its hands on (no Orion VII NG CNGs though).

Hey everyone,

I will be taking a short break from uploading videos for this week just to catch up with certain things and commitments, and also to relax a little. I will likely return to uploading sometime next week. In the meantime feel free to check out any videos on this channels which you may have missed.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, as the weather improves, days get along, and seasonal/annual events occur, there will be plenty of interesting footage opportunities. Here's what you can expect in store for later this month and through the coming months in Spring and early Summer on top of the usual:

1) NJ Transit Bus: Expect more NJT bus videos later this months and during the next few months.

2) MTA NYC Bus: There are many events occurring in Manhattan in the coming months, so expect related bus footage. Additionally with the ongoing MTA Bus XD40 delivery, also expect to see more MTA Bus XD40 footage on the channel (perhaps not immediately, but as time goes on).

3) NYC Railroad Content: The railroad content will return later this month, and in the following months hopefully include some content on other railroads outside LIRR. Currently eyeing for some onboard content as well.

4) Suburban Buses (Bee-Line, NICE, etc.): Should there be more XE40s at NICE, you may be seeing some more related contents, as well as footage covering any potential NICE bus changes which occur periodically. Also I intend on including some more Bee-Line footage, and if possible footage within Rockland and Suffolk counties.

5) Outside NYC Region: I expect to have some time later in the Spring to be able to take short day trips outside of NYC. One of those days will likely end up being a trip through several Connecticut cities/towns. Other locations have not been decided, however I am looking.

As always, thanks for the continued support!

Earlier on Friday afternoon was the last run on NJ Transit Route 64J. The weekday-only route was discontinued on Saturday April 6th, with Friday April 5th being the last day of service. Shortly after 8 PM, the last 64J was scheduled to reach Lakewood Bus Terminal for the final time and to never be seen again. NJ Transit eliminated this route due to severely low ridership.

Once a hub with healthy amount of trips to/from Central Jersey with routes as the 64J, 67, 67B, 67X and 319, service has been significantly gutted. This is in large part due to pandemic-era losses which never sufficiently rebounded. Over the course of a year and half, the 67B, 67X, and then 67 was eliminated from Jersey City and/or altogether. The elimination of the 64J deals another major blow to that market. The 319 now remains as the only commuter option with one trip in each direction plus its traditional Atlantic City service.

Retro bus! Here is MCI D4500CT 21253 on the NJ Transit's Route 195X near Port Authority Bus Terminal. The bus sports a scheme commemorating one of its predecessors, Public Service Coordinated Transport (PSCT). PSCT became Transport of New Jersey (TNJ), before ultimately being taken over by NJ Transit. This year marks NJ Transit's 45th Anniversary.

With the the upcoming LIRR March 4th schedule changes, came a few last runs this Friday, March 1st.

One of them was the elimination of all Ronkonkoma super express/flyer service. The only trip was Train 2066, the 4:54 PM train from Grand Central. Its first stop was Mineola, then Brentwood, Central Islip, and Ronkonkoma. While originally a regular Brentwood express with Jamaica and Woodside stops, they were eliminated in 2023 creating the super express pattern. Train 2066 will now add all stops made on Train 1058, the 4:57 PM from Grand Central. The final super express train was a 10-Car M7 set, led by Car 7620.

Almost immediately followed Ronkonkoma Branch Train 1058, the 4:57 PM from Grand Central to Central Islip. The only train to operate such a service pattern (all other service operated to Farmingdale or Ronkonkoma). Originally a train to Brentwood, this train was extended to Central Islip when Train 2066 was made into a super express/flyer service skipping Jamaica. This train was eliminated with the March 4 service changes, with Train 2066 now making all stops, departing Grand Central 3 minutes earlier. The final train was a 10-Car M9 set, led by Car 9096.

March 1st was also the last day of West Hempstead service from Grand Central. The sole PM rush train, Train 1762, departed as 5:36 PM. The final train was a 8-Car M9 set, led by Car 9164. Starting March 1st, this train will start instead from Atlantic Terminal (Brooklyn) at 5:32 PM.

A video will released this upcoming week documenting their last departures.
