Hi All! I am knee deep in house selling/buying activities for and with my mother and haven't been able to put together a video. The home buying market is crazy and it's harder than I expected to find a new house. I hope to be able to produce a new video for you soon but I'm not making any promises as to when. As soon as I can, I will get back in to the grove of things! Cheers!

Sorry everyone for the delay with the next video. I'm really struggling with being able to get everything I need to do done along with working to pay the bills. Ugh! I'm excited about moving but it is such a pain!

Hello everyone! A big welcome to new subscribers as well! Just a note to say that I'm running late with the next video this time as well. I am (again) in the process of selling a house and moving so I'm super busy with that on top of everything else in life. Also, the video I had planned is a heavy one and sometimes when the topic is complex, it's tough for me to get through. I end up failing to make my deadline and stagnate until I can work through the feelings that I had. I've done that now and am working on the next video so look for that to come out sometime early next week. Sorry for the delay!

Big news for adoptees born in Virginia. Bill HB550 has just passed with 66 Y to 32 N. The bill gives adult adoptees access to their original birth certificates. If the bill also passes in the State Senate, Virginia will join 14 other states that allows unrestricted access to any adult adoptee, age 18 and over, the right to their original birth certificate. When I made my video about birth certificate access for adoptees in 2022 (you can watch it here https://youtu.be/udbcFbQu7jE?si=_aXhl..., only 10 states allowed unrestricted access to adult adoptees. Slowly states are starting to open up but we still have a long way to go. Today is definitely a win in the right direction though!

Unfortunately, I'm going to be late with today's video. I'm super busy with the holidays and also dog sitting which is cutting into my editing time. To make matters worse, I'm having technical difficulties as well (shakes fist at Mercury Retrograde). It's nothing too serious but it does delay me and I won't be able to get the video out until tomorrow. Ugh! Sorry!

I know I thought that September would be when I was able to get back on track but unfortunately things just didn't pan out that way. Thankfully though, I am ready to jump back into my channel and have been working on getting some videos ready for you all! I have one all set for this Thursday so please look forward to that. I do have a bit of a bummer to report. I will be only posting every other week going forward. I don't have the time and sometimes I don't have the emotional capacity to push out a video every week. There is a ton of work that goes into each video so in order to be consistent and not get burned out, I've decided to publish every other week. I also have days where I just don't want to think about adoption and I think all of you can relate to that. Thanks for sticking around and I'll see you on Thursday!

Hi All! Sorry I haven't been posting lately but I've been knee-deep in house selling activities. Everything takes so much longer to do when you're the only one doing it! I'm almost at the end and should be closing on my house soon which means that I will have a lot more time on my hands to dedicate to making videos. I'm a birth mom in reunion and I talk about the rollercoaster ride of reunion. I try to give a wide range of information through my own experiences, thoughts, trials, and tribulations as well as other views and experiences that I have heard about and/or researched. Reunion is so complex and is completely different for everyone but there is so little information available to traverse this crazy road. If I can provide just a bit of guidance, understanding, and/or education for those traveling the same road or to those unaware of the side effects of adoption, then I am happy and immensely grateful to have this platform to do so.
