Hello everyone! I know I've been very slow to respond to any comments on the current video. But I am making note of the suggestions and I will check out the more popular recommendations I see.
The slowness in replying is due to illness. I barely got the vocals done before getting nailed with a pretty terrible flu. And I was pretty feverish while editing this one together. So, I'm not ignoring comments! I'm actually pretty wiped out and trying to recover.

The parallels to my recent fun times with age restriction (and the ever-so-lovely consequences to all future uploads) is astounding. @VenusTheory I feel you, man. Literally, the same thing happened to me, with a brief review, followed by the decision being upheld AND no feedback indicating what was so gosh darn offensive that I needed a backhand slap to the face.

CORRECTION TIME! In the Black Label 2020 video I state that John Constantine was clearly straight. Which goes to prove why I do a lot of fact checking before I make definitive statements in a video. Because I was oh, so wrong. As some pointed out, Constantine's bisexuality was established as far back as issue 51. So, I pulled it out (the issue I mean, you dirty bird) and sure enough...on page five there it was. Going to add this comment to that video and take my well deserved hits.

It's taken far too long to finally set it up, but now it's here. I'll make an announcement video and hype it up in a few days. And begin plugging it in future videos. So, for those of you who've been asking for it...here it is. I can definitely use the support during this somewhat difficult time.

In exactly one week, it will be six years since this channel began focusing exclusively on comic book material. Six years...just like that. Wow. I will probably do a livestream next week to celebrate. Anyway...
Late last year I made a lot of early, not great videos private because, well, I didn't like their quality. As of this morning I have reversed that decision and have made *everything* available again. Except ones I've remade already. This is in recognition of my past, whether it's good, bad or highly embarrassing. It's what got me to this point.
I just hope everyone's feed hasn't been bombarded due to these videos being public again! My apologies if that has occurred.

Here's a question that came up during the livestream on Friday: What very current mainstream series would you like to see me do an issue by issue review? Not a full series review, but a recent arc or two that were very interesting or were very controversial. No guarantees, but I'll see what I can do. Leave your suggestion in the comments. Thanks in advance for all your suggestions!

How did I cut together a 12 minute video in three days about a comic that just came out yesterday? Tune in later this afternoon to find out. Hint: Caffeine and insomnia.

I genuinely think my next video will surprise everyone. For me, it's not something you'd expect because it's very, very recent and an in area I usually don't get into. But I couldn't resist. By the way, I just wrote and tidied up the script today. It's a Hot Take that will be hastily edited so it can be out by Friday. I hope to see you then.

Strange Brain Parts focuses on comic book reviews and in-depth histories of comic book characters. There is a fair amount of variety and you'll find a lot of obscure or overlooked comic book titles that usually don't coverage. Although, there's also a mix of mainstream comic books put out by the Big Two, Marvel Comics and DC. The focus is on criticism and review and exploring the elements, such as lettering, colouring and page layout, that make a comic book a very unique reading experience.
