Madhuvanti Pal is a rudra veena artist, builder, and teacher, trained in khayal and dhrupad. A disciple of Vidushi Mita Nag of the Bishnupur Gharana, she pioneered a refined veena design that enhances playability while preserving its depth. Her LP Holy Mother, released by Sublime Frequencies, was the first vinyl by a female rudra veena player. She now leads the Rudra Veena Gurukul, teaching students worldwide.
