The Ikeda Center is an institute for peace, learning, and dialogue located in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Since 1993, our core practice has been to engage diverse scholars, students, activists, and social innovators in open-hearted and open-minded dialogue in pursuit of a shared vision for global harmony and coexistence. Founded by Buddhist thinker and leader Daisaku Ikeda, Center programs include public forums and scholarly seminars that offer a range of perspectives in humanistic thought and culture. Additionally, we publish dialogue and other multi-author books that have been used in more than 900 college and university courses.
