I received a couple asks on Tumblr about this, and I know it's a question many have so I'm finally answering it. I have been putting of simply because I'm quite shy. My apologies for that ไบบ(_ _*)

๐: "It's safe to say the YTTD musical is on an indefinite hiatus.
There's multiple reasons for that. First of all, I'm a place right now where if I'm going to spend my time on music, I want to spend it making original songs in other genres, and covers that I can learn from. I also am not ever planning to monetize the musical, which also decreases any incentive to spend time on it, as I am trying to figure out how to earn my keep right now!
Lastly, it just wasn't fun anymore. I lost motivation for it, and ironically I think that has to do with knowing how many people enjoy it and the pressure of wanting to please them. (-w-" )
Nevertheless, I am extremely grateful for the attention the musical has gotten!
You may have noticed that I said "indefinite hiatus".
One day I would love to complete what I set out to do and finish act 2, but until I find myself in a position where I can and want to spend my time on fanfiction, I'm not continuing it. I could not tell you when, if ever that will be.

I wrote the song when I was 16, but every time I tried to produce it, I just didn't like how it came out. When I posted it 2 years ago to YouTube, I still wasn't happy with it. But, because I thought the concept of it was so cute I knew I'd remake it when I wanted to distribute it! Which is exactly what I did! And now I feel a bit more okay distributing it. I likely won't be releasing any new songs for a while, since I do not have my recording equipment at the moment, and therefore won't be able to record (UmU"). So, if I do release anything (which would probably be instrumental or even something using a vocal synth), that'll be a neat surprise for us both! (๏ฝกโขฬแด-)โง
In the meantime I will just continue to work on things behind the scenes >;3 c
