To anyone out there who is a devoted struggling artist, one who has spent their life dedicated to doing this thing we call making music/producing/mixing/mastering/art. I know exactly how you feel. I want to assure you all of something:
Those who never quit, are the ones who reap the rewards. It’s an invisible mountain, and many quit just before they reach the top. The victory you’ve been looking for could be a few steps away. I hope you all get the recognition, and the return on all your hard work, or simply the happiness you are seeking, one day soon!!!
Also, anyone!!! And I do mean anyone, CAN do this. It all starts with the belief that you can. After that belief, it takes a lot of practice (on other people’s work). I realize this may seem counter productive at first blush. However, in my opinion, working on your own stuff forever doesn’t actually make you better, anywhere near as quickly. The reason being, no one has objective perspective on their own music IMO. Also realize, exceptional skills in anything, does not come quickly. It takes a lot of time, and 100% dedication and focus. Such is the nature of all great things in life. You got this!!!
