Roxy Coss has become one of the most unique and innovative saxophonists of her generation, and a definitional voice of the Millennial Movement in Jazz. A fixture on the New York scene, she has performed extensively around the world. As a side-musician, Coss has performed alongside Jazz greats such as Clark Terry, Louis Hayes, Rufus Reid, and Claudio Roditi. She is a current member of The Diva Jazz Orchestra, and has performed as a regular member with The Jeremy Pelt Group. The Downbeat Critics’ Polls named her in the"Rising Star" list on the Soprano Saxophone for the past six years. She is the recipient of a 2016 ASCAP Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Award. Her fifth album, Quintet, released August 2019. She is also the President and Founder of Women in Jazz Organization.
