From October 2023 to May 2024, the Sointula Museum is open by appointment. Please call or text 250-230-9650, email info@sointulamuseum.ca, or reach out to us via Facebook and Instagram. The Sointula Museum explores the 122-year history of the settlement of Sointula. Its Utopian beginnings involved the development of socialist thought in Canada and the building of the commercial fishing industry, unions and cooperative economic structures. Through the years, a strong spirit of community has prevailed, still evident in the lives of the current residents who call Sointula home.' Admission is by donation.
