In the meantime, I thought I would share 4 tips that helped me become truly resilient *and can help you too*
I wouldn't have been able to overcome all the hardships of 2023-2024 without these things that helped me so much.
1) Becoming a morning person.
An hour early in the morning changes the whole day and gives you a really big sense of agency in your life. It gives you a huge boost of power. I became a morning person using the book "The Miracle Morning" by Hal Elrod, and it really changed my life.
2) Tuning into the energy of food.
Foods, like places, like people, carry energy.
Is your food alive? Does it give you energy or take it away from you? If the food you eat makes you feel heavy, and you wonder why your life feels difficult and stagnant, try cutting some out and see the difference it makes.
Do you even notice the energy of your food or do you scroll when you eat?
3) Moments of silence every single day.
Society is so noisy - in this day and age, distraction is a given. Be intentional about allowing your true self to emerge. Give him or her the space to be in your life day to day. Let your soul breathe.
A quiet walk, journaling, meditation... any activity you like to do alone. If you're someone who doesn't like to be alone this can be scary, but I promise you being in tune with yourself is the bedrock of strength. No one can touch you if you know yourself and your intentions well.
4) "Do not let yourself be surrounded by people who will peck you to death like a duck" - Maya Angelou
Most people will be happy for you in life. However, some people will try to take your power. The key to protecting yourself is to know that they will usually do it with small remarks or incidents over time, not a big fight:
"Are you sure about that?"
"I wouldn't do that."
"Who do you think you are?"
Boundaries are key to growth period. Don't hesitate to put up boundaries with those who are taking your strength.
The good news? Awesome people add to your resilience. Go find them!

Hi everyone!
I know I've been gone a long time. In fact, I intended to step away just a couple of weeks this summer only to realize that I needed to step away altogether for health reasons and to handle some personal changes.
So much has happened since my last video and I appreciate any love or concern you've shared with me. It means a lot that you guys care, have commented and asked me what's next or shared messages of encouragement and support. It is really touching. Also my LinkedIn has never been so popular lol it seems everyone wants to know what I'm up to!

I haven't posted since the summer because a lot has happened in my life, and lots has changed. I know I said I'd post in September and I'm really sorry to any of you who were hoping to get a video from me then, because I don't like not following through, or disappointing anyone who is counting on me. I'm sorry to keep you waiting!
I want to share what's happened and I will, but not until the new year. It will be clear why, but to keep you guys posted I've been home (in Canada) and it's been good to be back. I made some amazing memories travelling, but it's nice to be home for the holidays! I'll be sharing some of my adventures in videos coming up, so keep an eye out for that.
