Alright, alright, alright, I know it has been a while but I have had a *LOT* going on in my real life. Like a significant lot of stuff. Good news is that I have just finished ASM up to 25 and I'm gonna have a lot to say about it. It's not going to be a single comic review, it's more going to be an evisceration of the last 5 issues. I hate this so much.

ASM #20 is so bad. It's so bad. There's just so much bad. I'm having a heck of a time choosing targets. It's so frustrating.

So update on my Green Lantern Hal Jordan background deep dive:
1. Emerald Dawn I: Hal Jordan origin - Finished
2. Emerald Dawn II: Sinestro origin - Finished
3. Superman #80: Coast City destruction - Finished
4. Emerald Twilight (Green Lantern Vol 3: #48-50) - Finished
5. New Dawn (Green Lantern Vol 3: #51-54) - Finished
6. Zero Hour (#0-4, Green Lantern Vol 3: #55) - Finished
7. Final Night (#1-4, Green Lantern Vol 3: #80) - Finished
8. Quiver (Green Arrow Vol 3: #1-10) - Finished
9. Identity Crisis #1-7 - Finished
But here's the thing. In Quiver and Identity Crisis, Hal Jordan is the Spectre. Well none of this reading order said anything about how that happened so I looked into it and now I see I am going to have to read Day of Judgment (1999). So now I'll roll through that.

Alright, apparently I am going to have to do a video about ASM 20 next. Look for it this weekend. JFC.

A comics pet peeve of mine is internal dialogue running in an around external dialogue. It pisses me off so much that I just read the internal dialogue boxes all the way through and then read the actual conversations. I feel like it's making me read an unrelated story before letting me read the actual story. Example:

Big day getting big books! Both of these came in. You may be wondering why. Well the reason is that these are team books and I am writing a book with a super hero team. I already had Fantastic Four with Stan Lee and Jack Kirby Vol 1. I found a great deal on Vol 2.
With the new DC Studios announcements, I thought it would be a good time to finally buckle down and pick up Absolute The Authority by Warren Ellis. I have *never* read The Authority so I am really looking forward to it.
