Less than 3 weeks ago I posted a very short video about the 2-6-6-2 engine at Snoqualmie, and today my channel has 459 subscribers and over 146,000 views!
What the what just happened?
First of all, my heartfelt thanks to all of you for joining me on this journey. I had no idea there would be such an outpouring of interest, but I am truly grateful for it.
I know a lot of you love Steam even more than I do, so I hope I can continue to produce more video about the Locomotives that are still up here in the Pacific Northwest. Restored or not, working or not, these amazing vehicles deserve to be remembered.

Welcome to my channel. Thank you so so much to all the new subscribers!
My name is Bruce, and I occasional make stuff. Fine Art, Puppets, Model Spaceships, the usual.
Recently, I returned to the hobby of model railroads, especially Steam Trains. This past year my wife and I moved to eastern Washington State and discovered quite a few actual Steam Locomotives just lying around the place. Neat! As a modeler, I'm always frustrated by the lack of information about the details on an engine, and I don't doubt plenty of other modelers feel that same frustration. So, I started these walk-around videos to help model train enthusiasts discover hidden details that they may never have seen before. For instance, I'd never seen Stevenson valve gear on a Porter-style engine until I stuck my head under an actual 0-4-0.
There's a lot more footage and plenty more train equipment to come. I invite you to stick around and find out what else I might discover.
