Hi folks,
So I was going through my camera roll looking for the videos of my outing to the Bluebell Railway’s ‘Beachy Head’ event on 25 August 2024, and I found I’d absentmindedly deleted all of the video footage I had gotten on the day. Fortunately, all the photographs still survive, so here is a small sample of what happened on that day.
The photo below shows the new-build LBSCR H2 No. 32424 ‘Beachy Head’ at Horsted Keynes. This was part of the ‘Built at Brighton’ event, where all the locomotives in steam were built at Brighton. The other locos at the event were:
- LBSCR A1 No. 72 ‘Fenchurch’ (built 1872)
- SR Bulleid Light Pacific No. 34059 ‘Sir Archibald Sinclair’ (built 1947)
- BR Standard 4MT No. 80151 (built 1957)
I am expectedly upset about the loss of the videos, but I suppose it isn’t the end of the world. This can just be a case of living in the moment (at this point I’m rambling just to save face, as I type this it is past midnight).
Next video will be the last in the Retrospective series (for now!), this time over on the Isle of Wight during their event last summer.
Until next time,
Connor.

So I probably should have posted about this a couple of months ago, but I just wanted to announce that I have started doing model commissions (although at the time of writing they’re currently on hold). All contact details can be found below.

Alongside this I’m also going to be releasing generic versions of commissioned models as payware on my site, the British Locomotive Works:

That is all for the time being, have a good one!

It has come to my attention that, since doing the release video of my Maunsell Q Class (watch it. Do it now), I have got a lot of people asking me to do models.
This post is just me saying that I’m not taking requests, because I’ve got a very full agenda, alongside things outside of Blender as well. I ask in the kindest possible way, please do not ask me for engine models in the comments section of my videos; it’s genuinely stressing me out.
Have a nice day everyone.

Updates:
While I haven’t been making videos, I have been making a lot of content behind the scenes. Take my new profile picture as a sneak peak of what is to come on the future.
Thanks all for over 7,500 subscribers and continued support from all of my mates at school, online, etc. Honestly, I don’t know where I’d be without y’all, so cheers lads.
Again, the reason I haven’t been making videos is because of school, but there should be some new uploads coming very soon, so do stay tuned for more!

As of today I started school again, so I won’t be uploading videos as often as I did
I will still make videos, but not on as regular a basis as I have been
As a result, I’ll just leave you with this picture of a Minecraft WIP I’m working on, the Chinese QJ locomotive

Visited both the South Devon, and Dartmouth Steam Railways over the last 2 days (as of time of post), so when I am connected to better WiFi, I will upload all the videos I made at both places
In the meantime, here’s a picture of Barry 10 GWR 41xx No. 4110, which was sitting at Kingswear awaiting restoration
