From #72 to #1 in less than a month for a local client [new domain]
Just recently got a local client from #72 to #1 on a brand new domain for his main keywords, plus a dozen of other service page keywords on page #1
Tips to achieve such a feat:
1. Strong on-page - Making sure the on-page was well-optimized from the start gave us a good head start. We made sure to add all the important subtopics to the page and most importantly, optimize each and every part using the scientific method of on-page SEO
2. Great off-page signals - We made sure to establish strong trust signals from the off-page. This includes great positive reviews and strong user signals consistently. We also build some great relevant links as well, but not so much

Nature of the site:
- Pure money pages (no info content, so all the traffic can lead to sales)
- Based on the Shopify platform
- Competing against big E-Commerce brands like Macy's, Amazon, etc
Progress so far:
- Made full recovery from December Update 2021
- 67% increase in clicks over the period of 3 months
- Increase in sales, as reported by the client (waiting for his analytic soon)
Things done:
- re-optimized some core existing category and product pages using specific on-page techniques.
- fixed some technical issues related to canonicalization and tags
- created a few category pages for new products
