In February of 2023, Dan and Sarah were introduced to us from their Boston real estate agent because they wanted to move to Concord. The timing was tricky because they needed to sell their existing home, had kids in school, and busy schedules. We had our initial zoom call and collected their wants and needs. They immediately were put into Real Scout and started getting our Tuesday check-ins to monitor the market.
Fast forward to April 2024 and it was finally time to put their home on the market! It sold in 5 days and they negotiated an August closing, giving them time to find their next home. They began making offers and were unsuccessful at first. Then a great house came to the market that didn't sell in the opening weekend. After a surprise price adjustment on day 7, they quickly secured it that same day with an offer that included a home inspection AND financing contingency.
We share this inspiring story because we know how extended the waiting time has been for the right home to hit the market. For Dan and Sarah, it was 78 Tuesday check-ins! Have no fear, it was worth the wait! Many agents will show 5-10 homes and expect their buyer to purchase one of them. This is not our style. We will say 'no' more than we say 'yes' when it comes to making offers but that's because it needs to be the right investment for your lifestyle AND your wallet.
