Everyone who plays a musical instrument as well as those who play a sport knows that maintaining and improving skills does not come free…
In these years of flute playing, although very part-time, I never found suitable exercises to practice the genres of music I like to play with the flute, so over time I have created some exercises that have been very helpful to me and today I have shared one of them.
This exercise is about practicing rock patterns in all main keys, and developing the "growl" flute technique (the one masterfully achieved by Ian Anderson, to understand) which you get by singing the notes that are being played.
So I am curious to find out if it will be appreciated!

Hi guys!
About 8 months ago I was contacted here by the awesome finnish band The Samurai of Prog with the proposal to collaborate with them. I accepted immediately and had the honor of recording all the flute parts for the album ‘The Time Machine’, now finally finished and out!

Thank you for making it possible to reach the milestone of 1,000 subscribers and for motivating me to resume my musical adventure with the flute, which I had set aside more than 20 years ago. It’s amazing to realize that now, at over 50 years old, the flute has finally become the instrument that truly represents me.

I graduated in flute many years ago and I love music as a means of expression.
I am a composer and producer and this is my project in which I try to enhance the use of the flute in pop, rock and even EDM music, without disregarding any other musical genre.
