Had to do Vader 4 reshoots for new response time info from Gamepadla. We had assumed Flydigi would drop a firmware update for response time related issues, which has lowered it to something acceptable, but itā€™s still miles off their advertising.

Big thanks to John Punch for the info!

The video is delayed but Iā€™m working to get it out today, or tomorrow. A lot changed, since initially, the Vader 3 pro was faster and cheaper, but now itā€™s just cheaper which alters the conclusion.

The video canā€™t be perfect but it has to be accurate!

I can conform this will be the deepest dive into the Vader 4 Pro on the internet. 6500+ words, with multiple points not covered anywhere yet. For instance, HE sensors for the sticks are in a place you'd never expect šŸ¤” Should be up tomorrow, I've had it in high priority for a week in order to get this video out.

I don't usually value getting things up extremely quickly because I truly value quality over quantity. You can't make real high quality content in a few days, but I was somewhat able to get both ends of the equation this time! Lot of jagoffs in reddit & YouTube reviews saying a bunch of things that either aren't true or are not well researched.

Understandable though, everyone's excited for it!

Be seeing you soon

Sneak peak on my instagram of the Vader 4 Pro Teardown (vCudaYT). May post more stuff like this on there before reviews go out

Review is underway, BIG time. Im gonna do my best to include some more advanced response time testing, since Flydigi always lies about it lol

Some content is complete and coming your way! But first! A public service announcement about Victrix:

Do NOT buy Victrix Xbox/PS5 controllers. BFG or Gambit. They're incredibly unreliable, customer service is aids, the material/component quality is offensive for the price, their software is unacceptably buggy (BFG software was was released 4 months after the PS5 BFG came out btw) and the features available from them are, for the most part, available on other controllers of a similar, or slightly higher price. Minus one or two particular attributes. They may have some of the fastest triggers I've ever seen, but those triggers are a massive failure point across all Victrix controllers.

My once positive take on their devices has greatly soured over the years. There's been a project in the works since the PS5 BFG came out, but it'll still be some time before I dog on it and the new Xbox BFG since other videos are of high priority right now.

I've wanted to get this 30-ish minute project out for over a year and the release of the Xbox BFG only made it more maddening. There are a lot of bogus reviews with little to no substance in the research department saying these things are great, they're not. Do not waste your time. The Gambit of old, while competitive in the space it was released in, has no place in my recommendations today. And the BFG's... my god.

Working on other, more important projects currently (Apex & Vader 4, HYPR, Etc.) but this arrived today and I thought Iā€™d show you guys

Aim finally added remapping abilities to their XSX controller. Aim has ā€œabsent fatherā€ energy with their Xbox controllers, they really couldnā€™t care and when they do itā€™s years late lol. Full review will be done, but after a few other things are out first.

For those wondering, controllers are definitely still gonna be on the channel and remain the main source of content. Some thought due to my latest project, that that would no longer be the case.

Rest assured, Iā€™ve been writing an average of 2,000-4,000 words a day on controller content recently. Hardware breakdowns, takedowns, reviews and comparisons. There still ainā€™t nobody doing it like me

TO THIS DAY šŸ—£ļø

GamerHeaven dropped a new vid discussing issues with HYPR; providing a very useful update to some issues I wasn't well aware of. Due to the issues being related to demand, I've decided to remove my review of their PS5 controller and I managed to get a full interview with their owner and Founder, Cameron. This will be dropping on the channel very soon detailing the full extent of the situation and what's happened behind the scenes to cause such issues. I asked the tough questions and got what I believe to be the remains of the puzzle; the excessive build times, QC issues and refund runarounds are all given further context, but I am awaiting further evidence on their end to confirm. For documents relating to refund issues, I will have them overlooked by finance experts to ensure what I'm looking at is real and untouched. Since I am no professional in that realm.

Nothing can excuse many of the complaints customers have expressed. While the situation is more nuanced than how it appears externally, HYPR could've done more in many respects to aid the situation. Everyone who's upset %100 has the right to be and I hope with the situation being explored in depth, we can prevent it from happening again. To HYPR, or any other controller manufacturer

Big shoutout to GH for his research into the topic. I've not been digging through comments as often these days, so I miss out on important stuff like this sometimes. In fact, I'm currently working on 1 other "review fix."

I sincerely apologize to those who may have purchased HYPR controllers based on my recommendations and had a bad experience.

Cameron, HYPR's Owner and Founder, also apologized to both me and you guys during the interview. Stating he never meant to cause anyone any harm.

Am Iā€¦ missing something?

Its specs look weirdly familiar. But it is a bit cheaper at $80 instead of $100 and itā€™s now called the ā€œPrimeā€

Sick Turtle Beach acquisition bro

I already have one horrifically negative review written about a Victrix controller, Iā€™m just awaiting its twin to shoot the video.

Yall are making my life hell over there at Victrix

P.S thereā€™s clearly been a small delay on the 2 videos currently in the works I posted about the other day šŸ„“ my fault

The Discord has been fixed discord.com/invite/Qm3w8AzchD

There was some weirdness going on with permissions but it's all good now. You should easily be able to join, we can finally get the server living again. This issue was going on for a lot longer than I thought unfortunately

What's your ideal price for a CUSTOM pro controller? (SCUF, Battle Beaver, Aim, HYPR, EVIL). Do you go all in on upgrades, or are you very particular about the features/options you want to keep the price down? I'd love to know what you guys look for so I know what to focus on in my custom controller reviews!

While finishing up a massive project about Mechanical buttons (and why they may not be as good as people think) this arrived. Itā€™s the King Kong 3 Max, but with 2 rear buttons and no trigger stops for $60 instead of $80. Renamed to; the King Kong 3 Pro

The same spec sheet as the other 400 GameSir controllers that have come out the last 2 years.

Very boring. Iā€™m already working on 2 videos containing 4 GameSir controllers with the exact same repetition issues.
