RE-OPENING THE SKY CLUB DISCORD
quite a few of you were around (crazy that it was FIVE YEARS AGO) when I started a Patreon and corresponding Discord called the Flights and Feelings Sky Club. This was a place where I could interacting more frequently and in real time with my audience, as well as for them to interact with each other. Now, though I'm not currently restarting a Patreon, i'm starting the Discord chat up, and for the current foreseeable future, it's completely free. I'll post this link to my larger social media channels pretty soon, but for now, i'm starting with you all!

What are some of your biggest and honest gripes/complaints so far and/or elements you think this channel and its video content are missing? based on what the type of content/topics/elements you're aware that i *could* bring, what would make you tune in longer or more frequently? or make it more engaging and interesting?
scheduling? frequency? videos too long? not long enough? livestream complaints? video or audio quality? topic choice too narrow? not narrow enough? tired of seeing just ME talk with myself and not other artists and influencers? too one-sided? not thought out well enough? preferred scripted videos?

CHANNEL NAME CHANGE
So I'm realizing i still want to talk about all the things "The Shores" entails but i also want this channel to be about more. I don't want to limit. AND branding wise, i dont want to get rid of "Flights & Feelings". And since "the shores somewhere over here" was actually just a title of a podcast episode on the Flights & Feelings Podcast, it seems the easiest thing to do is just rename this channel "Flights and Feelings". Still gonna be covering all the same stuff I have been on this channel, but allowing myself to address more than just that.
Thoughts?
Also, I FINALLY took some a few hours to figure out the best setup and settings for a quality livestream (those who be there, know my livestreams are always some kinda struggle with the audio, or the lag, or SOMETHING! lol). But i think we're getting somewhere!

i never left because of church folks but let me tell you, a lot of church folks on this channel ain’t helping the case lol
maybe it’s really hard to see when you’re in it and one of them. you may just have to see from the outside looking in. but from this side, i have learned a lot of y’all really do lack love, empathy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, etc. ya know… basic kind of “fruit of the spirit” type beat. folks concerned if i was ever a christian and im looking at yall like “are you sure YOU are CURRENTLY a christian??” 😂 sheesh. noisy gongs.

I haven't done a live engagement in a minute. a lot of folks in the comment section saying i'm just talking to myself in the video but don't want to engage with genuine christian intellectual pushback lol. so here we are. Apologetics, resurrection, evolution, astronomy or cosmology, philosophy, deconstruction, problems with church folks lol... what do i believe now, where Drake went wrong in this beef, you name it lol. all on the table.
soon enough, i'll start engaging on camera with others. i've not been eager to do it, not because i fear being challenged in my thinking, but because i genuinely lack desire to engage in a debate where two people sort of "represent" two camps and they sorta duel it out. i just like sharing where my head is currently at. i'm not a scholar. i've learned that the words "i don't know." can be deeply freeing and honest. i don't even know how good i'd be in real-time debate lol. i don't have a specific camp i'm trying to "win" an argument for. i do know my conclusions have not come in a vacuum. and i do know i'm a deeply curious person, who has for over a decade now tried to think and read as critically about these "lofty" things as a layperson can. so i try to present myself this way on camera, and i'm really only interested in conversing on camera with others who have also done diligent studying and reflection and is also not simply looking to "win" a debate for their followers.
but for now, i can take the smoke in the live chat as well lol got questions? pushback? disagreements? some ish you wanna get of your chest about me for the last few years, here's the moment. ( i only chose this slightly combative title because... clicks... and that be ya'll energy sometimes so, here we are... lol)
