This type of Skin is easy to detect. Its caused as a result of hyperactive Oil glands,causing Oil content of the Skin to be abnormally high. Its always greasy and its problematic to the owner.
Other characteristics include:
ยฐ Visible pores,especially around the cheeks.
ยฐ Dull /Shiny & Thick Complexion.
ยฐ Skin breaks out in sweat easily and sweats much
ยฐ Its prone to Pimples,Acne,Blackheads,Whiteheads,etc
ยฐ Pimples also occur on the arm & up per back & leave scars there.
Most times,this type of Skin retains scars from wounds.
CAUSES OF OILY SKIN
1). Genetics.
2). Puberty.
3). Age.
4). Hormonal imbalance. 5). Stress.
6). Exposure to much heat or humidity
CARE OF OILY SKIN
To manage an Oily Skin,here are the practices that will be of great help:
โ Wash the Skin twice daily with warm water & Oil Control wash or black soap. Also wash after you sweat,eg: after exercise.
โ Use Water based cosmetics,not Oil based ones.
โ Use a gentle cleanser and soap,to avoid irritation of sebaceous glands.
โ Never use sponge to scrub Your
โ Reduce intake of oily foods.
โ Drink enough water.
โ Include fresh fo face. ods and vegetables
โ Exercise often,for like 3always in Your diet. 5 days weekly as tolerated.
โ NEVER burst or squeeze pimples.
โ Avoid touching Your face with dirty hands.
โ Wash your handkerchiefs daily and change your pillow case at least weekly.
