Every minute, 14 women are physically attacked in Brazil;
these are just the recorded numbers.
I wrote âS a v a g e Daughtersâ with the amazing @solamaylove and @charliemccleanmusic . We sat down and got in touch with our past and how it feels to be a woman. A day that Iâll never forget.
my inspirations have roots in the stories I have heard in recent years from women from Brazil and countries like Iran, Turkey, Mexico and Egypt, different cultures and realities that have changed my life with their strength, heart and art.
There is a red thread that guide us to the wild inside, but that also connects all of us like one.
Although this song has only the title as a similarity, âS a v a g e Daughtersâ was also inspired by Wyndrettâs Berginsdottir music, and also by Clarissa PĂnkola Ăstes, my favorite writer.
âS a v a g e Daughtersâ takes the gold, tears, love and fury of many women.
For the child in me.
For all the stories Iâve heard of wild women across this Earth, for all my sisters I havenât met yet.

Embora essa mĂșsica tenha apenas o tĂtulo como similaridade, âS A V A G E DAUGHTERSâ tambĂ©m foi inspirada pela mĂșsica de Wyndrett Berginsdottir, e tambĂ©m por Clarissa Pinkola Estes, minha escritora favorita.
âS A V A G E DAUGHTERSâ leva o ouro, as lĂĄgrimas, o amor e a fĂșria de muitas mulheres. Para a criança em mim. Por todas as histĂłrias que ouvi sobre mulheres s e l v a g e n s por toda a terra, por todas as minhas irmĂŁs que ainda nĂŁo conheci. Isso Ă© pra vocĂȘs.

Every woman holds within her a sacred place for her wild being.
This temple, wildly flamed within, is a thirsty river of primal wholeness.
Of a Truth that cries out to Creation, that sings for the freedom of just be.
This feminine's life journey is in finding her original nature.
In this place of healing, struggle and emancipation, the essential symbology is pulsating so that the Rites can be accessed within the Myths.
Rites of passage where this Wild Being, this ancient mythology becomes one with the rational.
The connection between these two female polarities, which in so many myths are represented as twins, is UNA.
These archetypal forces in union form a third power, which traces back to us the myths of the Triple Goddess: The Maiden, The Mother, and the Crone. Inseparable aspects for the feminine expression portals.
UNA is Integer, Interconnected, Unique, Indivisible.
Imperative of the verb "unir" (Unite), it is the feminine that guards, shares, trusts.
In Tupi-Guarani its meaning is "dark, black", giving its name to several unknown waters, not always suitable for sailing.
Like these waters, the wild feminine, our True Self is not always easy to rediscover.
This launching into emptiness, mystery and universe losing and finding oneself as a compass to guide the unchanging and tireless enigma that we are.
In the unknown, we find the power of being just grain and thus flying light.
We find the power to join what unites us as beings đȘ
